Your words in quotation marks: "racial conditioning" leads to death by cop.

I don't really understand your point in all of this. Or maybe I don't want to think badly of you. So maybe you can explain why you keep on with defending "racial conditioning leads to death by cop" as just a product of society. As if that somehow makes it a non-issue and not worthy of the effort behind Black Lives Matter.

cops are human, they are products of their work environment & the training they receive. They react accordingly. Occasionally they make a mistake. their jobs are at a high level & those mistakes are huge, but they are still human. They call it "pilot error" for a reason.

The pilot error excuse is as phony as a dollar bill with my avatar on it.

White men are as likely to be violent as Black men. Read up a few posts, @see4 posts numbers that bear this out. Yet cops kill, beat and maim proportionally many more black men than white. When the cops start making as few "mistakes" when encountering black men as they do white men then I will agree with you.

It doesn't matter whether I ever went on a ride along or not, jj. I'm not saying cops should never make a mistake, I think they work a difficult job and am impressed with the times that a person was not injured or killed when they did something really stupid during a tense moment during an encounter with a cop.

I'm saying that racial conditioning to kill black men is something that must be weeded out from the police force. You seem OK with it and say that it is just a product of society today. I'm kind of disappointed to read that you are OK with this.

I don't know where you get that. Conditioning comes from the job. Training is to help you control it.

Ok, so you aren't good with the fact that black men are more likely to be killed by mistake due to racial conditioning. That's good.

But everything else that you've said indicated otherwise, so now I'm confused.

Police are unjustifiably harming the people they are supposed to protect. They do this at rates that are proportionally much higher to black people than white people. Police aren't all racist but some are and these numbers show that. The police who aren't racist cover up for their buddies. This cover up makes the entire police force culpable.

I was wrong about Baltimore this last time. But that doesnt mean that history hasnt shown a propensity of some groups to riot and I am not basing it on skin color.

If all the cops are culpable for covering for their buddies then all black people are culpable for gang violence... See how stupid your lack of logic is?

What does that have to do with approaching every black person with the mindset that they are criminals?

Do you know how many houses will get burglarized by white methheads in my town this weekend? Do you know how many of them will get shot by cops?

2 d-boys will probably shoot each other here but that's their business.

Black people shouldn't have to worry about cops shooting them when they're just living their lives.

cops covering for other cops is one thing. but not every black person belongs to a gang. you're simply exposing how racist you are once again.
