No chance, organic fruit and veg much tastier than hydro crap, cant beat that earthy taste, got a country of farmers who will back me up on that and organic meat mmm mmm forget about it.M
I can read. The point is topping/pruning makes the plants grow a lot faster. Afgan king knows what he's talking about, also. Why would taking 20 clones a day make a plant explode in growth but you can't even remove a bottom fan leaf in flower? And the people who have never mastered hydro shouldn't comment about soil vs hydro. Soil is the worst way to grow a plant.
You know what im saying. Some people think nutrients like GH and FF are the Robocop of nutrients. They think they are chemically derived like theyre produced in a test tube or by chemical reactions or something and it just inst so. They are derived from raw sources in nature and broken down biologically, cleaned, and refined. Not entirely true While Potassium and Sulfur may be elements, Potassium Sulfate is a chemical
potassium sulphate, also called sulphate of potash, arcanite, or archaically known as potash of sulfur) is a non-flammable white crystalline salt which is soluble in water. The chemical compound is commonly used in fertilizers, providing both potassium and sulfur.
There is a reason we call em chem nutes
So, the taste might be an opinion. The plants love being grown in hydro, the plants and the roots prefer it.Potency might be the same but yield is not even close. If growing plants really slow is your thing, grow in soil because it's the slowest and that's a proven fact. People cling to the idea of organic soil and start justifying lower yields. No chance, organic fruit and veg much tastier than hydro crap, cant beat that earthy taste, got a country of farmers who will back me up on that and organic meat mmm mmm forget about it.
Soil is not worst for a plant, it adds so much more a hydro system cant.
I'm not arguing wit cha, just sayin it's not completely black & whiteYou know what im saying. Some people think nutrients like GH and FF are the Robocop of nutrients. Absolutely! Anyone that isnt getting superior results from hydro isnt doing something or many things correctly. I have read and studied a lot about it, had conversations with masters, and am 3 weeks from harvest and the results arent even comparible. I can actually see the shape and color of my trichomes without ANY magnifing devices. That tells me a lot in the production of resin and essential oils compared to soil. Im not just talking I can see a lot more crystals, but I can actually see the shape and color of the trichomes as if they are magnified 20x or 30x. Its unbelievable! Good smooth taste and flavor is where proper flushing comes in. It is recommended to flush using Florakleen between each res change also when using GH products. People dont do it and then say GH is garbage when they get lock outs and things and unsatisfactory results. Thats not fair to GH or DWC because ppl arent following instructions.M

That's good you can read, I'm happy for ya. It's just the comprehension part you are having trouble with.M

Flush using florakleen,(wrong)Flush with nothing other than water plain and simple just plain water, for 7/12 day's.and then i don't think this plays a massive part, in the end taste, the taste is at its very best after about 1/2 month of good curing first in paper bags, then in jar's,after 2 month the chroraful should be at a min and the taste should be at its best. But put the flushing water in a bucket with a air stone in there for a few days so that any in purities will evaperateAbsolutely! Agreed technically when you combine 2 or more elements together you form a chemical by definition. Not entirely true While Potassium and Sulfur may be elements, Potassium Sulfate is a chemical

I have done many side by sides. It doesn't make the foilage explode, it makes the stalk ,the plant, the roots everything grow faster. I have 1 month old mother plants that get 20 clones a day, every day taken off them. I'm sorry you don't know opinion from fact. I take more clones a week than you do in a year, probably a lifetime. Topping them releases growth hormones, but you wouldn't know that. That's good you can read, I'm happy for ya. It's just the comprehension part you are having trouble with.
Pruning a vegging plant and seeing explosive growth of foliage doesn't equate to defoilating a flowering plant and seeing explosive growth of flowers. Sorry.
Still don't care about Afghan kings Opinion or anyone else's Opinion for that matter, like I said anecdotal evidence. We all have opinions.
Taste and ease but neither make one better than the other, not all growers do it for profit or yeilds and may see soil as far superior to hydro in every aspect. So, the taste might be an opinion. Im sorry but your wrong. Using water alone and flushing any less than 7-10 days will leave buds tasting minerally even if cured properly. Leaving a plant hang for 12 days before curing is way to long imo. Theres no moisture left in the stems and buds after 12 days of hanging. Theyd be crunchy dry unless your controling humidity. At that point its too late to cure. To cure properly there should be just a little moisture left in the buds. Enough that the stems crack but stay bendable and dont snap. This is usually 5-7 days, depending upon humidity. Once the buds are crunchy dry its too late for curing, the anerobic bacteria responsible for curing is dead at that point.Flush using florakleen,(wrong)Flush with nothing other than water plain and simple just plain water, for 7/12 day's.and then i don't think this plays a massive part, in the end taste, the taste is at its very best after about 1/2 month of good curing first in paper bags, then in jar's,after 2 month the chroraful should be at a min and the taste should be at its best. But put the flushing water in a bucket with a air stone in there for a few days so that any in purities will evaperate
Please explain why a low yielding, slow growing plant somehow taste better or something. When your plants started growing fast you get upset because you are opposed to heavy yields? I need a serious explanation from you masters why low yields are better? I will stick with healthy, fast growing plants.Taste and ease but neither make one better than the other, not all growers do it for profit or yeilds and may see soil as far superior to hydro in every aspect.
I'm sorry you think your opinions are fact. You still can't grasp it... I don't care how many clones you take a year. None of that equates to the subject of this thread, no matter how you try to spin it.I have done many side by sides. It doesn't make the foilage explode, it makes the stalk ,the plant, the roots everything grow faster. I have 1 month old mother plants that get 20 clones a day, every day taken off them. My point entirely!Agreed technically when you combine 2 or more elements together you form a chemical by definition.
However most people look at and act like "chemical" means frigging agent orange or some terrible, malignant concoction. There are good chemicals and bad ones.
Most people on here spit out the word "chemical" like they are pouring methylhydroxythioplutonium on their plant or something.
Nope,Using water alone and flushing any less than 7-10 days will leave buds tasting minerally even if cured properly.
Nopethe anerobic bacteria responsible for curing is dead at that point.
I DO agree with this.Soil grown plants will only taste better than hydro grown plants if the grower knows what he or she is doing,my hydro grown strains all ways have the best taste, but you can achieve all 3 big yeild good taste, and none of my bud is ever sold the plant has never been about making money its more about growing medication for me and friends,I all ways give any lower bud's away to the few friends i have that smoke it just to get high, but to me its all about the medinical value
