You should insulate your RDWC.Hi all sorry to butt in on this thread but I thought this was the best place to ask the question I have just installed a chiller to my system but stupidly I have bought a chiller to small for the system I am running rdwc so I have added a few 2 litre water Bottles to each pot to take up water volume so the chiller is actually chilling less water but it is still struggling but I think my mistake is that I have filled all the water bottles with water which in turn are heating up and then the water chiller is trying to cool the water inside the bottles with the water that is circulating around the system if that makes sense my question is what other material could I possibly fill the water bottles with that won't conduct heat thanks all hope some one can help
Ok..try filling those pop bottles with water then freeze them.Hi it's is all insulated already room temps are quite hi like 29 30c
Everyday for 90ish days .Ok..try filling those pop bottles with water then freeze them.
How bad you want it?Everyday for 90ish days .
Well..I figured saying buy a bigger chiller was pointless?Everyday for 90ish days .
Enough to buy/build what's needed so it would seem lol. Spent a pile of money building a passive chiller last fall . Getting ready to add supplemental mechanical this fall. How bad you want it?
I'm sure that works ok.....except for the can't go anywhere lol.i put frozen 2 liters in twice a day when i was running. Never owned a chiller. You just can't go anywhere over night.
