Is there any good nutes from home depot?

i would guess that the miracle gro is already loaded with nutes that are probably going to be way too strong for young plants.

i'm not a soil guy so just a guess on my part.

with the pre-loaded soils, you normally only have to add water for the first few weeks until the nutes run out.

I'm.using mg potting mix will I have to wait awhile?
The way I use to do soil is by adding no nutrients unless it actually needed it.

Personally the best way to grow in soil is to keep potting up when needed and the new soil "feeds" the plants. You can pot up right up to three weeks into flower with no ill effect, so long as done right. Personally I would transfer the week I flip into a big pot of new soil and generally I never needed to add anything else but water. :)

for a new grower and how cheap you can get a meter, i figured it wouldn't hurt.
I got mine for $30 and it made my life so much easier. The color charts get hard to read. The digital meter makes it more precise and easier to get the ph right. I got the Hanna Grpro 120. Great tool. My watwr comes out at 7.5. I use floraklee nova bloom as my base nute which usually lowers my ph but not enough so I always have to use ph down. I have no need for ph up unless I use distilled water. The nova bloom is a great product. I just potted up to 15 gallon smart pots. I'm about 3 weeks away from vegging still out here in northern California. I'm anot outdoor soil grower. Can't beat the California sun.

Order on Amazon problem solved
I agree. I mean of course I prefer buying local but when you can't find a good hydro store locally I don't know why more people just don't go to amazon. It's a little more expensive than the local stores on some items but at least you can get anything you want. Rather than relying on home depot to carry quality nutes. The ones out here actually have earth juice which I have heard good things about. However I will stick to my GH nutes and hydro stores. My girls love the floranova bloom.

If you just want basic stuff then grab some MG. The Tomato feed will push you all the way through veg and flower. The problem is it's all pretty strong so you may end up watering down your doses every now and then.
Vigaro is milder in the NPK but still has your Micros.
If you happen to find bottles of their 10-10-10 + micros formula that stuff rocks
They discontinued it but you can find it in clearance maybe.
I ended up scoring a case at like 95 cents a bottle.
The powdered stuff works well too though.
Alaska Fish Fertilizer & Morbloom are great as well. Switched mums over to it and they freaking love that stuff. Like REALLY love it. To the point where I wanna do a grow with the combo and see how they do from start to finish.
On a side note pick up lime.

You can def find nutes at home depot that will work really well for a grow. I like Dr.Earths product line. Ive been using Dr.Earth's Bone Meal and Bat Guano in my soil the for 3 grows now and just picked up a bag of their soil for a couple of my plants this season. I like their products and i'm pretty sure they have a line of organic products at home depot as well. I do a soil mixture normally where I dont even need to add nutes, a lot easier i find when you just need to water and all your nutes are already in the soil.

And actually all the Orchard supply stores that carry EB Stone now carry their 420 blend. It's funny how they label these products. Anyways the EB Stone 420 blend looked like a decent soil. It seemed to have some mycorrhizae along with some guanos. If you can find the eb stone brand give their 420 recipe a shot. I will stick with fox farms for now. My girls seem to love the ocean forest mixed with happy frog.

you can use Tomatone or Epsoma and epsom salt, they are at home depot. They are organic and very inexpensive.

I use the Nature's Care organic line. I highly recommend it. It's the only MG product I'd recommend for cannabis. No synthetic, liquid, time released or salt bound nutes. Coco/peat/yucca based medium. OMRI listed. Cheap. EWC. Great stuff. Doesn't burn seedlings or plants in any way.

I agree. Even their nature's care line looked like a turd wrapped in a shiny new package. I bought some of the nature's care compost and got it home and laughed. It was mainly wood chips. It was the worst looking compost I've ever seen. I gave it to my neighbors. I didn't even want to use it. I went and got Malibus compost the Bu's Blend. Opened it up and noticed the huge difference in quality. Compost shouldn't be 99 percent wood chips. Anyways I make my own compost teas now and stay away from anything with MG on it. I realize some people use it and get great results. However with all the hydro store options for me in California I refuse to shop at depot.
