30 main colas per plant, now flowering.

Looking nice man, Its 6ºF / 46ºc tonight and dropping another 4 degrees Fahrenheit tomorrow night so best get them warm quick sharp, take a pic once there the new greenhouse is up bongsmilie

my silly wife keeps forgeting to pick it up from argos .
when i took the other greenhouse back they didnt have another to replace it, so i had to wait a week till they had them back in stock.
they have had them in for 5 days now and our lass keeps forgeting to pick it up on her way back from work cos she drives past.
she promiced she will get it tonight,
hope she does or ill go for it my self, its just she has the recipt.
i hope to have them in tommorow cos its raining and cold and getting worse.
i might rig up a couple of flos to help out with the light intake in the day.
and hopefully raise temps by a deg or two.
what you think about the flos in a greenhouse?.
for 12 hours a day?. to help out in the day?.
all my plants are flowering now.
i have a male and that is well showing ball.
i have it well away from my females.
i am going to poll a lillte of 2 of my girls.
my male is a purple starin"indigo" im going to poll my ice"purple ice"strain name lol
and also going to poll my orange bud with the indigo.
to get seeds, for next year.
any views?.

is it poss to poll just a few buds of a plant, without the whole plant getting seeded?.
any help on how to just poll a few small parts of a bottom of a plant?."female".

It will definatly help but might be a bit obvious what your doing?

Not sure if you can pollinate a few flowers i think the whole thing will go to seed but i havent read much on this subject ...

P.s i'm local to you so if you do get some seeds what is your thinking on sharing :bigjoint:

Skunk #1 ive taken some cutting recently which if they all sprout will give me some spare im happy to do a swap.

well if you're flowering outside you have another month of decent light then it will be light at 9am dark at 5pm giving you 8 hours light a day, i thought in flower you need 12 hours light a day?

Right now I've got 6 bag seed plants at 3 different ages of flowering; one will be harvested this weekend, one will be harvested in about 3 to 4 weeks, and 4 more that will be harvested in about 6 weeks.

On top of that I've got 4 White Widows, 2 Mazar/Afghans, and 1 Bubblegum into their 3rd week of veg. And finally this weekend I'll start another set of 4 bubblegums and that will be my last seeds until I order a new strain. Until then I'll be using a mother and clones.

And yes I have pics.

This is the one that is ready for harvest this weekend. This picture was taken about 5 days ago and since then most of the fan leaves turned totally yellow so I removed them (and saw new bud growth the next day). As you can see I topped this one and pruned it so only the best colas were kept which gives me 5 colas instead of one. I've already taken 5 grams (dry weight) off this plant by clipping off the buds on the very bottom and they got me nicely high. Not quite as good as mids, the stone doesn't last too long, but better than the schwag weed the seeds came from. I imagine it will be much better after it's properly dried and cured. Judging by the 1.5 oz I got off my first plant I expect to get almost 2 oz off this one.



And this is my last bag seed crop, notice how short I've kept them. This was a second experiment at growing small plants with lots of nodes. I topped the more sativa looking plants and left the one with the big fat indica leaves alone. Oh, and I also super cropped the hell out of them using the pinch method; works AMAZINGLY well, you just have to give the plants a little more time over all. Even the smallest branches are hard as nails from the high stress pinch training.



And finally here is my latest crop, my first grow with "good" seeds.
The White Widows are on the left, the Mazar/Afghans are on the top right, and the bubblegum is on the lower right. One of the White Widows is exibiting a purple phenotype so I really hope it's a female; if not I'll move it and harvest its pollen.


Where am I from? I'm from the planet earth; or so my parents tell me. But I live in the southern U.S.

It's actually 5 colas, hard to see one since it's blocked. The "one" on the right is actually two. You can just see the two branches if you look near the bottom of the branch.

Well, I hope to get at around 11 grams off each cola on average. That'll give me just under 2 oz total. I think that's resonable based on my previous plants' output.

Anyway, didn't mean to hijack your thread, you were probably just being nice asking about my grow and I'm like an excited kid with a new toy. ;)
