Need some sativa in my life

I'm looking for a good daytime smoke that's uplifting, puts you in a good mood, and doesn't leave you ready for a nap when the effects wear off. Older Kali Mist fit that bill for me, and is my benchmark. None of my patients like sativas, so my rotation is pretty much devoid of them....and I'd like to fix that.

Here is what I currently have for sativa/sativa hybrids, and would love some feedback if anyone has grown or smoked any of these. I'm also open to suggestions for other strains that aren't in my seed tin atm.

Might be worth adding Peak's Sweet Skunk x C99 to that list. I got one pheno that fits your bill perfectly. "uplifting, puts you in a good mood, and doesn't leave you ready for a nap when the effects wear off". 9-9.5 weeks too pretty fast. Either way you'll get to try some soon. ;)

I have a few of those left, but didn't put them on my list because the first two I grew didn't kick out anything like I was looking for. Maybe I need to revisit those...

I have it, and I'll trade for what? cannatonic or perkins? Are they the same? It's a sativa dom, doesn't wreck you when you smoke it, flowers like an indi, very smooth and relaxing, finishes well out door in northern michigan. Smells like baby formula after been vomited from a baby. grow pics 096.jpg

I reckon the Columbian black would be a goer, the santa marta gold is a very uplifting sativa. Panama red is another sativa that is uplifting. The purple haze x thai would be good but may end up a trippy stone due to the thai...keep us posted on what you go for man, I'd love to tag along :)

The Columbian Black is gonna get a run for sure. The purple haze x Thai has me a lil scurred though with an 18-20 week flower time! :shock:

Yeah the thai's always turn me off with the flower time...I really want to try a full landrace thai though, just not in my current setup! Wow, 126-140 days...it would want to send you to mars and back for that long a wait ha ha.

I think the main way to get the high you want with a sativa is all in the cure...slow dry and slow cure for a few months. So add another 3 months onto that 18-20 week flower.....bugger that...would be fun though :)

I was going to suggest medicine man as well. I used it in my nightcap cross to bring a clear headedness too the high, it worked pretty well and maintained it's high CBD profile. Has the sweetest smell to it and throws pink pistills :) just have to watch her though, she can throw a few late nanners!

I've grown a handful of the c-99's, and they are good. Hoping to find something a bit more uplifting though...but I will run the rest of em for sure.

I have access to clones, and am actually running the Santa Cruz cut of Blue Dream right now. It's my go-to daytime smoke ATM, but again, not quite as clear headed as I want. I've been taking it to 10 weeks, so maybe if I whack her at 9 I'll find it more to my liking?

Thanks for the other suggestions. Limonene's Silver Mountain review has me excited to try that one for sure!
