Yes I do know, as well as knowing you've been using the wrong cobs for a while now and never would have figured out they are suboptimal, being blinded by efficiency specs. You want to know what else can be used from veg to flower? Bloom nutrients. Fluos. T8 840.

Or how about Mars leds...

Except with me you can go back 5 years and look at all my grows and experience pre and post PLC. I didn't come to this site, well before all of you in this argument, to sell shit. I came to grow and talk about it with some other like minded people. That hasn't changed and never will, read the signature. Don't drag me into this as some kind of sleazy advertiser. I fought as hard as I could to not have an advertising badge...I was forced to do it cause my products were talked about and I was member.

As far as DIY pricing @REALSTYLES ...it's right in line with everyone else in the game

I had Mars and they failed and if you are using Mars you really don't. Cree CXB3590 are the most efficient led on the market. Every 400w gives me a pound here's some plants under 800w total in a 4x8 Gorilla tent


one side is all organic no bottled nutes

I know I'll get more weight than you with only 8 plants.

In case it wasn't crystal clear, my point is that no advertiser on here acts like a street corner hustler, and it would be nice if it remained that way. I can't understand why there is even a debate about keeping advertisements out of posts, it's just common courtesy to other merchants, and a sign respect for everybody else.

You can ask, but it would not be asking the right question. I get the results I get primarily because of the things I don't do, not from the things I do do, not from a specific light. If I were to do a run under cree leds I'd would show what a clowns most of the efficiency-freaks here are, but also make led look much better than it really is, for which I don't want to be responsible.

Haven't heard plasma in a while... Owner of a dutch grow forum tested plasma years ago (search youtube for sannie plasma) but it is not really a player atm. Choosing between LED and HPS is a bit like choosing between organic soil grow and hydro. They both have their advantages and disadvantages. There are both more suitable and less suitable hid types and leds.

A pound from 400 is really nothing to brag about. That's what 400watt hps growers do to after subtracting the fluff and actually trimming it small and drying it entirely. We can argue about leds as much as you want, but your attempts to start a pissing contest with me is as misplaced as it always has been and probably will be, you are not in my league, you do too many stupid things for that. Like using a suboptimal spectrum.

I dont really have a dog in this fight but having helped a local customer with parts to convert some Mars units to CXB3070 and 3590, his issue was the build quality of the lights and the poor after sales service to resolve it. The issue of yields light vs light while aways a matter of interest was secondary to problems of diodes burning out. The images I have seen of burt diodes indicates they use the old P2 platform, made famous in the early Luxeon LUX1 etc Models, the issues appears to be , poor diodes(made cheap) and/or bad heatsink design that leads to premature failure, something I think could be resolved with better design and better leds, however they are building a box to a price, so very short term view

am I missing something or are these just the facts
