Need help. Yellowing/wilting

Soil/Perlite grow, 400watt HPS, temps 24-34c (lights on and off)

Dr Underground - Painkiller around 8 weeks old, still in veg.

Symptoms appear to be random yellowing and wilting. Some leaves look like they've been partly dipped in yellow paint. Some tips clawing.

It started yellowing around 3-4 weeks in, then when i transplanted it was finer for another few weeks now it's got really bad.

I've been watering and feeding every 2,3 days, been getting run off. PH in always 6.4, 6.5 or 6.6 and comes out 0.1 lower so pretty much the same as going in. I've been feeding to the recommended doses on the bottles. Which is 7.5ml of grow to 1L of water, I give 2L so that's 15ml of grow. Also been adding calmag at recommended dose.

My initial thoughts were magnesium defiancy, Then as it progressed I though N deficiency. I spoke to a friend off here (@SickSickWorld) and he's suggested sulfur deficiency. It's got me stumped though as PH is in range so there's no lockouts and it's obviously getting worse. I'm going to buy some Epsom salt tomorrow anyway to have on hand and try to see if it is sulfur.

Can get more pictures or share any more information that's necessary. Pictures are from today and yesterday.

Anyone any ideas?

Thanks for reading.

That is not a deficient look, more likely nutrient antagonism. What soil did you start with? Does it have slow release ferts in it?

Your temp range is way to high 24-34c 75%-93%

Had heat problems earlier on. It's cooler than it was. It should be ok in veg what it is as long as it's consistent. Will be getting a bigger extractor before I flip.

Going off the information and comparing to over fert pics it doesn't look the same to me.

Could use some more input if anyone can help!

It's some pound land stuff with added John innes, started feeding after a few weeks. When I transplanted it seemed to stop and slow down even though I carried on feeding. My nutes might just be shit. Not seen many people using that line.

I think busybee uses Ionic, and he pulls. I'm using pound shop coco, soil I'm using BioBizz light mix. Using pound shop nutes for soil (3 part system, so £3 for 3x250ml bottles) and minimal deficiency other than calcium, rectified with cal-mag.

Your plant is a mystery man. Uneven yellowing and leaf curling. Did you feed full strength straight away? The combination of full strength nutrients plus the additional food in the soil from potting up could have something to do with it. You won't see any effect from anything you do for about a week regardless. I know you dont wanna hear it, but I'd flush, prune, start feeding again at half strength and watch new growth.

Didn't start at full strength think I started at half. Will give that a try after trying Epsom salt. Says roughly 4 days to see any changes if it is sulfur. If no joy then I'll flush etc.

Keep in mind the soil you use may be the cause of all kinds of crazy problems. Root aphids and fungus gnat larva/egg or other bastard creatures may be lurking in your soil no matter what brand. I have personal experience with stunted growth, crazy curling/distorted forms, decay, yellow/brown spots, death. The issue may not become apparent for quite some time after you plant. Mine took like 1 month, then all hell broke loose. To be safe, you can sterile ALL soil before putting your plants in.

So after more inspecting today I noticed the side closest to the fan is worse than the other. You can see the side on the left of the pics is effected more. Thinking it could potentially be a bit of wind burn too. Going to raise the fan later before lights on.

What I like to do, if it's a tight space, is face the fan towards the wall. Kinda bounces the breeze round, rather than directing it at one plant. My super powerful JCB box fan I had pointed at the floor, in the centre of my four plants. Still too much, lol.
