In an old Pepsi commercial they would ask "passers by" whether they preferred Coke or Pepsi, they answer Pepsi, drink from 2 different cups (one containing Coke, the other Pepsi), and then are asked which they preferred. They always picked the Pepsi cup and were "blown away"'by the results. So, I try my goods, and pass out plenty to friends/family and ask which they preferred. Then I pick the winner.

That's all fine and good, and I don't mean any offense to you or him, but I don't know either of you and people on the internet (and especially pot websites like this) lie all the god damned time about everything. Tons of drug addicts and compulsive liars who make up a large portion of the community. Everybody wants to be the guy with the story behind the strain or the "inside info" and that's why literally the majority of what you read on sites like this is either a half-truth, highly exaggerated, or an outright lie.
So with all that said, the burden of proof is on the person who makes the extraordinary claim, and saying that anything can be truly finished in 45 days from the flip is an extraordinary claim.

Again, that's great, but most of you have likely never even met the guy in real life. He very well could be telling the truth, and I'm not attacking him here, but I'm trying to inject a bit of common sense and healthy skepticism into the discussion. His reputation is based on what he writes on a (somewhat) anonymous message board, and the hive mind here will click the "like" button and immediately adopt an opinion about a subject based on just about anything that sounds like it's accurate. The internet is full of blowhards who know how to write in a relatively eloquent way and can make complete and utter bullshit sound feasible to those who don't know any better. Pot forums in general are a breeding ground for misinformation, stoner science, red-eyed conjecture...it's a huge issue and has been for well over a decade. I've been posting on cannabis message boards since before even the Overgrow days, 14+ years now. (Boy that's sad, I shouldn't tell people that.) The amount of people I have seen over this time who have been veritable "internet celebrities" on their respective message boards with legions of sycophants who mistake a tone of authority for actual understanding, and who have later been outed as compulsive liars with no actual experience at all after years of spreading misinformation, is absolutely staggering. All I'm saying that is that you guys need to learn to take everything you read here (and anywhere on the internet -- seriously, anywhere) with not just a grain of salt, but a whole god damned shaker full.
And I'm still waiting on some photos...

Maybe....lol.

Had a strain back in early 2000 called chronix, not to be confused with chronic.
35 DAYS!!!!! No joke!!!!
Took it to 70 once to see if anything changed. Didn't get better or yield much more.
Super crazy strain, first time I saw purple stalked resin on green bud, but not the last!
Hashy, and very potent ko,and a very solid yielder.
I wish that breeder was still in the game.

Really? I ran a solid Pineapple Express last year. I took it 63 days, looked like it could have gone another 7 (days). Done, but not "done-done". Different phenos, I suppose. I would have kept the "45'er". Something for the "interim".

My huckleberry kush 2014 from dynasty finishes at 50-55 days. And ive taken it at....well ive taken it way early several times and its still dick in the dirt smoke with great smell and bag appeal.
