Is my weed destroyed! Mold?????

I dried and cured my extra northern light for 6weeks before burrying it in jars. 2 months later i dug it up today ready to smoke some killa and its wet and smells like shet!!!!!!im so dissapointed! Its at least 4 oz. Ruined! Can it be saved? Is it safe to smoke?

Sorry to say, but you could ruin your lungs smoking that now...(and it will taste like it smells-sheeit!) All is not lost however, you can make a shitload of hash with ice buckets or bubble bags. It may not taste as nice as sweet nugz of NL but it will do the trick.

I don't see any mold but if you do see it don't smoke that stuff. You can get really bad insanely horrible lung infections inhaling some strains of mold, if not worse...

Yes the only way to save moldy bud is to try to get hash out of it, but still you'll end up with mold spores too, they're microscopic, so sorry to say this is one of those times I'd actually write that stuff off. Looks like I see a few seeds in there... Those might be useable.

well you could let it dry a bit more or make hash with it?

I was just re-thinking this as if it were my stash and yea, I'd have to at least try making hash with it. It might be that the mold spores would all float while the trichomes sink and if so then you might be able to perfectly separate the mold out.

Smoking mold ridden marijuana can give you serious lung and health issues...and smoking mold can make you see things too!




Like the ceiling of a hospital as you have a severe allergic reaction to the mold you just smoked

There are over 100,000 species of organism classified as fungus. Shrooms and blue cheese are 2 out of 100,000 that are not toxic, so if you want to take a chance on the remaining 99,998 or so species that exist then go for it-see you in the ER
