Would this work

Hey indefinetly,
Yeah your right, better of doing that now with getting the power secured. Wish I knew a better way to set up the vent, but I guess maybe I could find something under Al B Duct journals like you said. On the journals does he have a guide to build the hydro tables? Also does a room with 2k lights need 2 inline fans (1000 cfm each), no right?

Also PS in a veg room, his many mothers can I keep under a 1000 water and how many clones would that get me in how long? My estimate was about 200 from like 12 plants. But then again I really don't know..

Why did I purchase all this equipment before I started? Misinformation. This is my first time even on a forum, I was not aware of how tedious and educational this would be
Hey Chong,

Buy the tables.
If your budget is tight, make the stands.
If you go to a shop that has them on display, you will see how there made. Then you can replicate.

I'd personally just save up and buy them.
That was Justugh point.
Do one table from start to finish.
Then from all the money you have "saved" from your harvest you can buy some more equipment.

I already mentioned that your veg room does not require a thousand watt light. Save some money and use a 400 watt metal halide.

Get a few mothers going under the 400 watt and you will soon find out how many clones you can take. It depends on how well looked free they are. Have they been topped/fimmed? Are they well fed. Good temp/humidity. You are controlling there environment. It's up to you!

I tried to take about ten clones from each mother, every fortnight.
But they were Thick juicy clones , lol.

6-8 mothers would fill your "two tray" "2 x 1000 lights" grow I suggested. They will also fit under a 400 watt metal halide light. Keeping the power bill down is important. You will understand when you get your first power bill.

OK, thanks for clearing that up. Yeah I was thinking about using another 1000 watt for the mothers because I have 6 of them already just collecting dust lol. No big deal though I'll get them to good use eventually. OK I'm going to find the tables I'm going to buy then post a pic, maybe you can confirm if it would suit my need? Thanks again

hey Chong,
have u seen Auto-pots?
dont need tables & heres the link

they might be good for mothers because they get tall plants

No worries

Can you return Two of 1000 watt lights for a store credit maybe?

So you can get a metal halide light for veg room and your trays and stands?

Hopefully, would save me some money. If not, then I guess I'll just put it aside for later. Do you mind me asking what tables do you use? Is there a certain name brand or something

Brand is not important mate.
They are pretty much the same.
Black, thick plastic trays.
Do some shopping for the best price you can get.

Hey Verticalgrow,

Have you used these auto pots?

I looked into them years ago.
An Australian inventor.
There pretty cool.
Never seen anyone grow Ganga in em though.

Never used them bro,
they look like cleaning would be a bitch but they remind me of self watering pots & they work great.

Hey Verticalgrow,

I love the grow you gave us a link to.

It's excellent for someone who is trying to keep there plant count really low.

Although as far as yield, you can beat Sea of Green. Light efficiency especially.

The grow you referred to Veged the "4 plants" for 5-6 weeks under a metal halide light
Then his strain flowered for 10 weeks
So 15-16 weeks

In A SOG set up , in 16 weeks you would have done two complete cycles ( 8 weeks flower - no veg ) .

If He wasn't worried about plant count and did SOG with
4 x1000 watt HPS
4 x Flood and Drain Tables
You will fit 40 to 50 pots/plants per table

Flower straight from clone, you should be able to achieve half an ounce to 3/4 of an ounce per plant , per cycle.
APPROXIMATELY!!!!

Yield Estimate :
Based on 160 plants ( can fit about 200 )
160 plants x 14g = 2240g
Just short of 5 Pounds ( 4.9p )
"Worst case scenario"
---------------
As you get better, you should be able to get 3/4 of an ounce per plant.

4 trays of 40 ( can fit 50 )
160 plants @ three quarters of an ounce per plant.
160 x 21 = 3360 g
That would be 3360g ( 40 plants per table 21g a plant) = 7.4 pounds
---------------
If you master it you can have 50 plants per table.
Bringing the yield to 4200g or 9.25 pounds every 8 weeks.

That's why I love Sea of Green

When plant count is not a concern.

It can't be beaten in light efficiency and yield ( GPW)

In my opinion.

i got 4 hours before i need to be there so i got some time

here are som videos to help explain it
sealed room designs

here are venting rooms
look at 10 mins that is the one i think u should do for your area
Spot on mate,

Ten minute mark on video one is the ideal setup!

Although if you can't have A/C, the ten minute mark on the second video is how i ran my grow.

My only issue was as per the diagram.
My exhaust fan, scrubbed the air though the carbon filter and was turned on by a thermostat.
So when the temps were not warm enough for my exhaust fan to turn on ( via the thermostat switch ) my rooms odour would slowly increase.

So I had to actually allow one row of lights to be exhausted in the room.
I still cooled the tubes , just didn't exhaust the air from a row of lights. Dumped it away from the plants to make sure the thermostat turned on the exhaust fan to allow the air to be scrubbed.

Next grow, I'm adding a dehumidifier and a split system a/c for sure!

Hi again, I really like this setup. I like it even better then my original setup (w/ 6 lights), and I'm REALLY glad you have experience with this exact setup!!

So I would just like to make a few things 100% sure before I step forward with setting up theis room ( I want to do a flower room w/ 2 lights and 2 flood tables like the second video).

1 what size is the room
2 what size are inline fans (3 of them, including exhaust all same?)
3 what size is carbon filter
4 what size are flood tables
5 what size is accurate
6 what is that red box ( I can't read text lol)
7 In the video the speaker mentions that hydro growing does not really benefit flowering resultsts, only veg. If this is accurate, does this mean that my clones would be just as good in soil as they are in hydro
8 will the strains I have chosen get me 1/2 ounce per clone (green crack & white widow)
9 what media did you use? Coco?

Thanks

Thank you for doing this! This gave me a much clearer visual or how sealed rooms and mini split acs work. I can see now that I'm NOT ready for a minisplit, maybe end of year. I hopefully would like to pull off at least 2 harvests (w/clones) before I upgrade my air conditioning. Would like to know do you veg your clones a little longer before flowering?

Just would like to be sure on something, a minisplit would mean I no longer need an intake, only an exhaust ( depending on number of plants)?
