Far far away from there. Haha
What do you think about this?

I have a 15A outlet and a 20A. Currently, I have all my clutter plugged into the 20A and was going to run the 2 LEDs on the 15A, but I'm worried that would be cutting it close.

Should I move everything over to the 15A and run a 14 or 12guage extension with all my veg plugged into the extension and run the 2 LEDs off the 20A?

The veg extension would have:
-318 W of T5
-125W of CFL (clone light)
- 1 4" hurricane fan
- 2 clip fans
- 1 300gph pump (only comes on 3x for flood tray)
- 1 airstone pump
-1 24 site turbo klone

I was also going to hook up my 8" hurricane fan for flower tent and a couple fans to this circuit as well

Do you think I could handle all that on a extension cord?

You may be able to get away with it but I would not recommend it.
the CX-9 is half the light as the Pro-9 so 2 of them could go on one 15a circuit. But the Cx-9 will have trouble out performing a SE-450 IMO.
If you don't mind my asking, what made you but one of those? Running CXA's w/ no enhanced spectrum. Just RQE white.
I highly recommend running another outlet if your not going to convert to 220v yet. You'll need two anyways so to run your fans, AC , & dehumidifier. BTW, as inefficient as they are, many decent stand-up AC's have a discharge port in the back & double as a dehumidifier. Something to consider.
Lies lies.

Hello.

I got mites up the ass, but I am top shelf grower.

Only my opinion counts.

I'd pick up a watt meter from Amazon or your local grow shop. As for an extension cord they also sell appliance cords too.

On the subject of breakers, I'm currently running all my room on a 20 amp breaker. But I've noticed there are others in my breaker box that are the same size, but have 2 20 amp splits. I want to add 2 outlets to my room from 4 to 6 & put each 3 on they're own 20amp. I'm nearly maxed on the breaker box as is, so if this is do able it'd be so grrrrreat! Do able?

This is the one I'm using now for 4 outlets:View attachment 3702077This is the one I want to use to run 3 outlets each and also in the pic, shows both styles:View attachment 3702078
Quite being cheap and call an electrician. You know, a professional who knows what they are doing. Growing will continue to be scrutinized because people try to do electrical themselves and end up killing themselves or others. I work with electricity for allowing doing underground. Had a 12kv direct bury primary exploded at a splice last week. It is not something to guess about or go off of internet advice.
You seemed shocked Greengenes flipped out on you. But it seems like every thread I click on is filled with you begging for help. Try asking a professional or google maybe.

You need to pit whatever will put out most amps together whether that's the lights or the other stuff on the 20.

Ya I'll just call an electrician into my op in an illegal area. Great idea idiot. It's not always as simple as you think. So think before you call people "cheap". You're just being an ass just like GG.

I may be an idiot. But at least my house won't be burned down and innocent people will still be alive.
If you're that concerned with legality. After your next run is complete, move all equipment to a friends house and have the electrician come then. But people's lives and property aren't worth that much trouble for a guy who can't even use Google.

Wow, you're telling me to use Google over asking for real world experience on a forum. Rofl.

I should have known that's what you would take away from what I said. If Greengenes didn't get through I stood no chance. Here let me try to say it again for you. Call an electrician for all electrical questions. Google for the 10,000 other questions, such as,"is my scrog to high?", which litter most good threads in the led section.
How about you start your own threads? That way people can choose to read your drivel.

I never called you out on jack shit and never do to anyone. You're the asshole who decided to throw a jab at me for no fucking reason. You just as easily could have been polite about it and simply said, "I think you oughtta call an electrician, it'd be safest." Think you're high and mighty all you want punk, but we both know who started this shit.

Good advice there airwalker. Move the op and get someone in there is the best bet. As for the watt meter they are great for figuring the actual draw as well as helping to keep an eye for personal power consumption.

For instance I used to disconnect my air pump for the air stones until I plugged it in. 1.5 watts, I was like fuck this and left it going every day since.

Call me crazy, but with exposed wires and back of outlets all over the unfinished basement, it's pretty self explanatory on how to wire it. I've already done the whole room, just wondering about pole breakers. Single and double. I've got my answer now and will be re doing this shortly.

We're all sure you have lots of things shoved up your ass but we really don't need to hear about it.
Who lied? I don't like that shit on my thread so pls, no one lie. Good thought out educated opinions & facts are welcome though.
I understand how you'd think mites make someone a bad grower as you would know nothing about them or what it's like to grow aside from what you read as I doubt you grow anything. Do you have a thread that others can choose to go to n listen to your crap? Cuz, no body seems to gain shit from you around here.
My Pro9 and Johnson CX9 are arriving today!

Pro9 pulls 8.18A
CX9 pulls 4.51A

Think I'd be safe putting them both on a 15A circuit by themselves with nothing else?
Congratulations! That's awesome! I know, it's a great feeling to get those big boxes dropped off. Like a kid at X-Mass. Are you all set up to start growing? Keep us posted on your progress. You got two beasts for lights. You have the 5'X9' right? I would seriously consider getting an AC no matter how cool the basement is. You must control your environment. It is more important then your lights, nutes, strains, medium, all that. Believe me, you will thank me later. Did they come in? Interested to see if the cords are heavy gage on the Johnson like they are on the Amare. Tell us about the build quality difference if you could? I noticed a huge difference between my HH & Amare.
Make sure you're cautious when hanging them. Be sure to make secure. Good luck!

You need to figure out what each breaker is running. Once you know, you count the watts going into each one from the house. Once that info is confirmed, you know how much room is left, then you can add in what you want depending on its electrical draw & what's available. It can be a pain but totally necessary until you can get dedicated lines. Once you know, draw yourself a diagram so you can grow safely & know what goes where & why. I had to do that shit for like 3 big grows when I first started. It was crazy & very scary as I was running the entire house just for my room. Dangerous. I sleep much better at night now that I had it done right. 100 amp service just for my growing needs now. Good luck!
Sometimes an electrician isn't necessary. But when they are they are & it's not to be messed with, ya Know.
I think GoGreenLED gives a 90 day.
I'll check to see if they're big enough & some things about them. I think I'd need to have lights using similiar components to get real data as to whether the enhanced white is beneficial to outperform white only like I feel it may be. Also, need to match wattage. If anyone has suggestions to an all white light that may be a contender in this comparison pls LMK? I've been seriously considering it for the next grow as I can add colored light rails to it later if it doesn't perform as well as my Amare. I wouldn't want to return it unless I really was unhappy with it.

Only one day with the LEDs & had all sorts of new growth. Started heavy-pinching today & set up the rest of the lights. We are now officially under-way with our proper veg. This is my first time truly vegging with these lights & it's pretty cool. Exciting as corny as that may sound. Stay tuned as I'll be shaping these plants & going over a few tricks & techniques this month, getting these girls ready for flower. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Best way to hang these bitches? The wires that it comes with waste about a good foot. Think im going with 4 ratchets for each corner because i tried one on each side with a wire between connecting 2 loops and its lopsided

Regardless of what's running how much, my room runs fine. I've never tripped the breaker, but all I'm saying is, I'm going to replace the 20amp breaker that takes up the whole space, to 2 smaller, thinner 20 amp breakers so I can have 3 outlets on each one rather than 4 on the thicker one like now. Make sense?
I just learned that the skinnier ones even exist.
