Help required with my first manifold

Cheers man. I gave it a final tidy up last night and am going to let it run its course now. Excellent advice so far, I can see manifolds as being my way forward. Will still grow one or two unusual strains ( I have a kush auto that has been in flower for 8 weeks and will not stop growing)
All I can think is that the original kush from the kush mtn range was a hybrid of sativa and afganica because kush has like a cross leaf of the two give it a few more weeks my kush pheno's have all hade short secondary branches while my indicas are more bushy and seem to finish more around the 8 week mark than any kush pheno's for me any way

It didn't need a hair cut. Don't just listen to people b/c they told you to do something. You're an engineer, look into WHY they told you to do this and you'll see there is ZERO evidence to back up lollipopping and these little hair cuts. That's like saying "hey Crashmat, if you wanna grow taller, just cut off one of your arms, your body will stop working on growing your arm out and help the rest of your body grow". Give me a break. Also, just fyi, your soil and plain water will only get you so far, you WILL start seeing nutrient deficiencies within a week or two's time. Good luck.

Hi dude. Yeah I've been designing things long enough to see what's right or suspicious. I take onboard every comment and decide from there. And yep I research until my teeth hurt and it always pays off.
It's nice to hear how other people do it, even wrong or bad information can steer you towards the correct answer. My favourite one was someone saying you should only SUCK air through a cool tube.. Shit if you have plastic impellers on your fan..
In my tent I built my own scrubber, sound proof fan box and BLOW air out of the tent, via the cool tube. I have good negative air pressure, and can control my temps by as much as 10 degrees by various means.
Growing weed is like playing golf, everyone has an opinion
As for me I do everything according to what's best for me and ultimately the ladies..
As for nutes, I let the soil do its thing and then use general hydroponics flora trio.

That's what's up Crash. Happy growing. I myself can't wait to get home to my ladies and tend to them. It's an addictive hobby. I started with bag seed and 2 CFL's. 2 months later I have 3 led units, 3 tents (vegging, flower and drying) and have aerators making compost teas and am cooking soil in the garage! Now I am looking into venus fly traps and other things to fill my house with green plants in general! Btw,that's one fucked up avatar bruh.

1 widow manifold
1 normal widow now in mid bloom
1 cheese in early bloom
1 kush OG auto that won't stop growing and flowering (now 6 weeks into flower and 1m tall)
5 amnesia haze into their second week

Hi man. Yeah I'm rapidly falling in love with my manifold. Not really doing a journal but I will add a few pics later. I just bought a super veg MH bulb and my ladies have grown a stupid amount in a week. I'll be doing a journal for my amnesia autos as I've just changed nutrient suppliers so will be a good benchmark for me. Not too many of us UK growers on here so I need to set the standard lol

Hi all. As promised here is the latest pic of my manifold. 5 weeks in and looking good. 16 beautiful cola sites. Up to now I've not used nutes, just good old fashioned potting compost and pH'd water. Gave her her first taste of GH Flora Trio fertiliser yesterday, and will now feed her for a week or two before flipping. I also changed out my MH light for a better one and the bud sites are very tight. In the evenings I move her onto a 600W HPS and she loves it.
I think I'll tie her back one last time for an even canopy and that should be it
I'm also doing another post on a freaky OG Kush auto I am growing, so anyone with experience might want to have a look
