Cloning & 12-12 from clone/seed

Anybody clone like this? Or ever tried it? Think it will work. Also anybody have pics or knowledge of growing from seed/clone on a 12-12 from the start so no 18-6 (veg)? Only have one place I can grow. When I get a lil more money im gonna have a veg closet. But I need to get a few things. One more question..... Is it bad to veg with a low low (2 30's) wattage light then switch to higher (2 300's) light. This is a hydroponic system think it's called deep water.

Yeah I used to do that, but I would roll the edges of the opening of the bag back like a cuff in pants. That way it can support the bag because it has more rigidity. It looks like you have the bottom of the bag attached to the pot somehow. I just sat the bags up by themselves. Did you cut one corner of the top of the bag off for ventilation? That's what I did. You cut it then kind of pop the hole open a little. You don't want a lot of condensation in the bag. Can rot the leaves where they touch it.

Awesome I'm gonna cut a hole in the top corners now. Thx for the advice. Is their a reason why you didn't attach it to the pot?

Just wasn't necessary. It's good to have some slight air circulation so the crack at the bottom is actually not a problem. The pots I used were quite small too, so it was easier just to sit the bag over the whole pot. It was plain freezer bags I used, the kind that come with twist ties. Looks like that's what you have too. It was just one corner I cut off. Both may be okay though. I cut about 1 inch off.

Once they catch your golden, also the balls are not needed I recommend the book The secrets of west coast masters by Drew West... Has some really great info for cloning as well growing and training, I was able to cut out 17 holes from an 5 gallon bucket
