I wanted to be a classical languages major and did three years at CSULB working on that degree. Woke up one day and realized I really couldn't make a living....... My favorites were Vedic and Pali our Sanskrit teacher was the ex Boden professor of Sanskrit and wrote a grammar. He was an amazing man.

Yeah but it's a re-appropriated word, ie, claimed by the minority and asserted as a positive. Language can be very powerful
