When you say flush do you mean a regular watering with plain water or a real flush?

Plain watering is fine but 3 weeks without nutes is too much and a loss of yield. Try a lighter nute feed to keep them going and use plain water only on your last watering,

trust me on this unless you havent over fed the plants you can keep feeding the plants till chop - what will determine smell and taste the most is the dry and cure. Dry too fast and youll have shitty tasting buds

Ok everything I read says to flush for weeks before . Thank you for your help
Yea there are people on both sides of the fence on this issue, i for one stopped flushing as an experiment and didnt notice a difference in taste or smell.
Try it for yourself with one plant, thats the only way to know for sure.

Ps: some strains put out most of their weight in the last 3-4 weeks so starving them during this period might decrease your yields big time

That makes a ton of sence thanks I'll post pics before I harvest .do u use an extended dark cycle or is that a myth ? Just curious

I usually give them a 24 hr dark cycle if i have space, then harvest when the lights come on, but i have harvested without the 24 and had great buds so i dont know for sure what effect it has.

Sorry wish i had a better answer but i cant confirm something im not sure about. I heard some people go 48 and 72hrs but i never can wait that long lol.

Try it with clones that way you have 2 samples of the exact genetic profile and flowering time and can make a good comparison, you can even send them to a lab and test them for cannabinoids.
Peace out and good luck
