I'm running some of the popular commercial strains full season like

Cookies
Gorilla Glue 4
Sour Diesel
Grape Ape

And then some crosses from RIU friends like the Grandmaster Kush and Candy Train. And some of my own crosses in playing around with like my Photon Blaster. Plus a few from GAS and Best Coast Genetics. Some light dep and some full season.

To think its going to be a immediate benefit to your plants or soil is wrong its a form of building soil over time ,, you could add as much Nitrogen , c02 and o2 one thing is for sure no matter which way it can take years
its like placing a full egg in the ground and then placing egg shells n the ground and then placing crushed egg shells in the ground..
Which one would benefit soil quicker or your plant ???
trust me from someone that has 4300 tons of organic soil grow going :)]

Using biochar is great for plants but I wouldn't purposely make my own just to hurry up the process. You lose a lot of goodies into the air where they go as greenhouse gasses that way instead of letting it break down slowly as nature intended. As an agriculture major I believe building the soil for the long term and not just immediate benefit is something most people have lost sight of.

Who ever said composting is good just remember 60 percent plus of that compost is emitted into the air as Green house gas so were damned if we do and damned if we don't :)

And how much goes into the air when burned? Slow composting and anaerobic fermenting releases the least amount of gasses. If you turn your pile less and keep it covered in soil, more of those gasses will be trapped to be used again as nutrients.

One of my babies in light dep.... 20160530_074511.jpgits one ive been working on called biddy berry. I loved how the biddy early had a blue raspberry jolly rancher smell and hella potent but didnt have that berry after taste and smaller yield. So I crossed it with a blueberry. Hopefully this yr I nailed it. I didnt veg this one for long nor did I train it.

Here's my big barrel:

I put a smaller container in the middle with the seedling so I can take it in if it storms while its young and fragile, once it gets some more size, I'll just take it out of the container and let it grow into the barrel. Filled it mostly with FFOF, perlite and lime, the top layer is cheap dirt for the ornamental flowers, the plant's roots will be down in the FFOF. (It's a purple Kush seedling)

Thank you this is the first time I've spread my plants out I usually just top a few times but i seen some real monsters and I just had to try it I know I won't get what they had because they were in Cali and I'm not but we will see what I get

Yup it all depends how u train them from the start. Thats why I like mainlining........no cage. Btw you can grow real big plants anywhere just start them inside first months before you put them outdoors.20160530_204210.jpg
