You might want to find out why he did so before going off. The rally was not all about entertaining people who paid for a concert. But yeah, if he backed out to go to the Bahamas for vacation, that would suck.talk about a fuckin idiot!

Being jewish isn't the defining characteristic of Sanders or most other people of the jewish faith, or any other faith for that matter. What matters is what people do and how they treat others. I'm not Jewish- and in fact I started the 'just in case you thought Israel was a nice country but misunderstood' thread, specifically to draw the line between Israeli human rights abuses and the religion they've been hiding behind to do it since the Holocaust. That said, I judge people for what they stand for and what they put their effort into, not who they worship.
I've met my fair share of New York Jews, myself. Just because some of them are disagreeable people isn't an automatic indictment of their faith or heritage.
I do hope your views evolve on this matter. I pity you that they haven't thus far.
Besides, I'm sure Bernie knows where to get the best bagels and lox in town!
