Kilowatt? If you could please explain what issue you see with this setup I would appreciate it.

1000w = 1 Kilowatt. It will run unbearably hot in a small closet. My 240w+500w LED in winter made my closet heat up to 83 in February. Your HID will put out way more heat and harm the plants.

Also airwalker was talking about my tiny cabinet my cfls were in, I have a huge walk in closet. With my door open my Temps are at max 80 degrees with the hps on. So yes my hps is to large for the small ass cabinet but not my massive closet.

Received a OG Kush seed from some dispensary herb today, along with a random bag seed. Og seed looks small but very mature with nice striping, the other seed looks less mature. Just threw it in the water to see if it pops. Hopefully that OG POPS! If it does going to veg for alot longer this time round.

Sooo, I thought my cfls gave off alot of light at night.... this motha fucking hps probably keeps my neighbors wondering what my light is doing on all night... I promise I'm not a tweaker neighbor. Seriously though, I have a bed sheet over my closet door and it's still killing me.... yes the door is open so I can get fresh cool air in. But damn, it's still bright. I probably will have to invest in proper ventilation so I can keep my closet door closed, the light is pretty obvious when I go outside and look at my windows. Plus I live in an apt complex, in a state that frowns upon rec herbal growing. So my solution: buy black sheets from Wal-Mart this weekend. Hopefully it helps. And this big contraption makes my lady look so small haha... the first photo is with all my other lights off in my bedroom just to show how bright it is,
only light source is the hps in the closet.

So the OG Kush seed I got popped in its cup of water, put into a paper towel for the night then into the soil tomorrow, gonna do 12/12 from seed with it. Hopefully the other seed pops.

My pineapple smells soo Freaking amazing. Super fruity with a hint of skunk. Anyways, she looks great today, snapped a few pictures before the hps go turned on. Also got my little og seed in the red pot in the back hopefully it pops up tonight.

Thanks I actually pinched those leaves off, I just thought some nutrients might seep into my mix kinda like compost, but definetly don't want pests so I'll toss em haha.

You can compost them, but you should not throw them right into the dirt before composting.
