Just under 10, plus a 5 gallon bucket of popcorn. What did that old girl end up dry?
Unless you needed a permit for that greenhouse. Than its in sight and on their mind! Can't hide a greenhouse.Greenhouse.....out of sight, out of mind...
Every situation is different, some counties allocate very little to code enforcement, some much more. At least a code inspection you can turn them away & delay things a little, they usually don't have a warrant. But if they can easily see an oversize pot patch?Unless you needed a permit for that greenhouse. Than its in sight and on their mind! Can't hide a greenhouse.
Usually don't have a warrant, maybe can turn them away.. Like you said every situation is different. I just was saying greenhouses aren't fail proof. Ask @Garden Boss . I believe they found his. Now they come in August for an inspection your screwed either way. Greenhouse or not.. in my opinion the greenhouse offers some privacy but mostly protection from the elements. Especially an out of code greenhouse, it's a huge red flag for code enforcement. The easy pickings as compared to an illegal bathroom like I have in one of my garages.Every situation is different, some counties allocate very little to code enforcement, some much more. Seeds were started the 1st week of March.Holy 10lbs?! How old was it when you put it outside?
Our county is dotted with thousands of greenhouses......they don't have enough code enforcement personnel to check them all. I know the 6-7 greenhouse around us, & none are permitted. Some have been there 10 years...Usually don't have a warrant, maybe can turn them away.. Like you said every situation is different. I just was saying greenhouses aren't fail proof. In La county you don't need a permit if it is not attached to the ground,Just don't use old garage Doors they come out and make you cut them to 6ft.tall.They claim it's an eye sore.Unless you needed a permit for that greenhouse. Than its in sight and on their mind! Can't hide a greenhouse.
My neighborhood also. I can look down the valley and see a good 60 green houses. Some with regular farming some not. But still doesn't mean they can't come...and still doesn't mean your not rolling the dice anymore then the outdoor grows near you. 10 years ago was a different time then now with the mj laws. Hope your right for your neighborhoods sake. Our county is dotted with thousands of greenhouses......they don't have enough code enforcement personnel to check them all. Point was they found it. Interesting background story though. My greenhouse was only hindering my landlord from legal road improvements... Nobody bothered me until he went in for his own permits, then the county pulls up Google maps right then and there.
Whatever...I just dont want people thinking 'they' came after me because I simply had a greenhouse, it was our own poking around for road permits that caused demolition.Point was they found it. Interesting background story though.
Well "they" did come. Do i really care how or who or what? Nope. Just proving a point. Unless I said something inaccurate let me know. Didn't mean to hurt your feelings cloneboss. Bet ya I harvest more then ya again this year. Cause when you said that to me last year, we both knew you wouldn't.Whatever...I just dont want people thinking 'they' came after me because I simply had a greenhouse, it was our own poking around for road permits that caused demolition.
yeah just me getting paranoid there with you two guys cos I respect yas to much...No feelings hurt, just don't want to scare people with misleading info. We had the option of leaving it stand, but his road wouldn't be signed off.
Much love, life is good for the cloneboss
