image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Hi guys!

I've just turned on the 600 w HPS Dual spec for my 3x Auto Northern Light and 3x Auto Royal Cheese. After 24 hours under 20/4 light, nothing has come up yet :(

I've mixed the Coco-mix and the Light mix (soil with perlite in it) about 50/50.

What do you guys think about the nutes? I've bought these from General organics:

Bloom
http://www.planetnatural.com/product/biothrive-bloom/

Grow: http://www.planetnatural.com/product/biothrive-grow/

Do you think this is enough ? I'm thinking about feeding the first time after 7 days from germination.

Wow very strange never heard of mixing them both together like that I would just go with one or the other is think there would be problems putting coco Nutes into soil

Sounds like you will be adding CaMg+ as suggested. Also you are missing most the trace elements and they don't not appear to be present in your medium. We don't feed seedlings for 3 weeks or unless they look hungry but I would actually add the CaMg+ if you are using reverse osmosis water but just 1 teaspoon not 2. And you are a soil mix not a hydro/coco mix. I am not a master grow or a genius or anything I am just a dude who's been growing nearly a decade. That's what I'd do with that though.

image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg HI again guys !

THANKS for your answers! I've now invested in these biobizz products:

Fish mix, alg-a-mix, top-max,bio-grow and biobloom. My seedlings are now on day 11, but I think that something os wrong woth them..

(I only look at them under my 600w hps, so I don't know if that's the reason why they are a little pale)

One of the plants has been "retarded since day 1 with curly leaves and so on.. 3 of them are looking very nice and big but some of them has little "marks" on the leaves.. Try and look at the pictures.
* it should be Said that I tried misting Them with Water from a det days ago, But that was not a good idea!
I'm thinking about only giving them water the next time and no nutes( tap water, oh regulated after 24 hours)

So next time you try and start seeds dont do it under an hps. Seeds like dark and warm. Shut that light off and let them do it how they do in nature when theyre burried under ground. Then when theyve sorouted move them into a weak light.

The soil mix you made is probably fine for a while. Id say two weeks. Then youll probably have to start adding food in tiny amounts. Im guessing that the strangeness happening to the leaves is caused by over feeding. Since theres food in the light mix already you dont have to feed every day like in coco. You can easily go fwwfwwfww right now. And even in a month you can probably still do fwfwfw. Or in a month you can feed every day but just at lower rates at every watering. By the sounds of it you bought a pile of stuff that you want to throw in there already and burn the hell out of your plant. Try and resist this urge. Plant food does not grow the plant. Grower talent does.

Thanks for your answer ! I really appreciate it

The leaves are all looking better already but I will try to go with the (ffw). I'm waiting for the pot to get light before I water/feed them. I'm feeding with 1/4 of the recommended dose (grow). Do I need a product with cal/mg or is it ok with the new products ? And when is it normal to start giving auto flowers bloom nutes as biobloom? Some say from the beginning and others say when the flowering starts...

And also with the alg-mix and fish mix I think I will only use them as foliar spraying later on. Is this bad ?

Pots 11 L
2 L water/feeding 1-2 times a week when the pot is dry/light enough.
Humidity: 50 %
Temps 75f
Strains (auto): haze xxl, northern lights & royal cheese :bigjoint:

Thanks again !!

No prob, ive only grown one auto flower but it went really well. Personally i gave it grow food for most of its life. Those autos just do so much "growing" so fast, and even into flower theyre still stretching. The estimated days on mine was 90 and i gave it 100 before i chopped er down. Pretty sure i gave it grow food until about day 75. So ya, id wait until the buds have formed pretty decently at least.

As for the foliars, i see so many guys burn their plants with foliar feeding. I would just use it in the soil. Also that fish stuff is made from rotting fish. Not really appetizing to smoke right? If you really want to do it make sure your at under 10% of the solution and before buds are there, and try it at a lighter application rate to test.

As for calmag i start up about two weeks in and then run until a week and a half before chop. Start low and move it on up as the plant grows.

Ok, that sounds good!

Hell no! That fish mix really Really stinks !!

As for the foliar spray I'll test it out later on when they're bigger. I just don't understand why almost Everyone uses cal/mg beside the other nutes - doesn't the grow, flower and bloom nutes contain cal/mg?

And do you have a brand that is better than others or is it just as good to use natural stuff like eggshells ?

Thanks ! :bigjoint:
