They say 3 weeks of rain for New England.

Early forecasters are calling for 3 weeks of rain/ thunderstorms for my area. We need the water desperately, but I just put my seedlings outlast weekend.

If we get anything severe I might throw a few of these over them. They will get light and airflow, but not the crushing rain

Lived in New England all my life, I don't think I've seen a lot of accurate forecasts this far out. They're lucky to get tomorrow weather right.

Hahahaha. I used to pay a few weather forecasting services to help me with long term forecasts for snow. What a waste. I agree with you 100%. A few days at best!

Wouldn't be too worried plants can handle quite amount of rain with proper drainage. I'd be more worried about insects and rodents eating our seedlings.

Ha I like the pics...funny! At least ur not going to get below freezing like we are this weekend...ugghh and I was suppose to transplant today!

I've used canvas tents with varying degrees of success basic lean to style with loose canvas weave similar to coffee bags and rocks to hold it down.. Let some misty rain in and good sun when available also seemed to cut down on wind gust. Either way that's half the battle in NE... Challenge accepted

It has already rained (at least a trace) for 15 days straight here. We need some sun to get some growth going. Even the clover is starting to stretch from a lack of sun.
