Thank you. I appreciate it.
Thank you. I appreciate it.
And I appreciate an actual conversation so thank you as well !Thank you. I appreciate it.
I know there aren't any labs in Colorado yet(AFAIK) that will do tissue sampling with cannabis, but once that happens, I would consider doing it. I'm always a proponent of more data and it should help you improve your product as well. I know you and a lot of others read the plant on the outside, but reading it based on specific nutrient concentration is valuable information as well.No. as I have no need, I follow no schedules, everything I do is based on plant response. After watchin em for as long as I have I've gotten pretty good at it
My lowest tested strain was 21% THC
Big Mike from AN has done a lot of leaf testing there are 2 you tube vids where he actually admits high P is a waste based on tissue samples and he has a pdf of tissue samples on a white widow, I don't readily have the links ,,,,,,,,,,,I know there aren't any labs in Colorado yet(AFAIK) that will do tissue sampling with cannabis, but once that happens, I would consider doing it. I can't really tell you what is or is not a good concentration of any nutrient in the plant though. No one really knows right now, not like they do with many others.
Well now I know who to ask if I need nute math breakdowns, you obviously know it, it seems.
That said, I am not a noob looking for help, I have been growin for 44 years and have written 2 books on the subject as well as post and threads here at RIU with over a million total views. There are a lot of folks that would tell you I have forgotten more about this plant than most growers know.
The low N is key to higher potency, High P is not ever needed if growing in containers (out side is different as is hydro) I live in Denver, our water is is on the top 10 best list in the US, has plenty of Cal and yes I simply and mostly use tap water feeding only enough to keep the plants healthy & green it's a long lost art that I am trying to bring back
Most MJ growers are truly clueless as they follow myths and nonsense spread on these forums, the less is more mantra is very real
OkBro you sound like a pompous gasbag. Youre a fucking root boiler for christ sake. Your "books" are littered with spelling, grammar and syntax errors. Your cannabis growing philosophy is sketchy and idiosyncratic.
Growers are far better served by scientific analyses, quantifiable approaches than claims about how great you and your pals tell us your bud is.
Dude RM3 has a thread for calling him names, you dont have to do that on mine.Bro you sound like a pompous gasbag. Youre a fucking root boiler for christ sake. Your "books" are littered with spelling, grammar and syntax errors. Your cannabis growing philosophy is sketchy and idiosyncratic.

quack quackOk
everything I do is science based and yes that includes boiling the roots
bro, are you offended by "a fucking root boiler"?Dude RM3 has a thread for calling him names, you dont have to do that on mine.
All of us here get along to a certain degree and have posted on each others threads many times
Well, I've been growing just about as long as you and I know for a fact that to keep a plant as green as yours, a supplement of N is needed through out the grow (indoor grow). Most people switch off to bloom fertilizer too quickly after switching into flowering, which leads to premature yellowing of the sun leaves. I'm not saying a high dose of N is needed, but a constant low dose supply will keep plants healthier.Does this plant look like it needs N?
Do you see any nute deficiencies?
At 6.5 weeks does it appear to be maturing properly?

No im offended by everything you said and it just comes across like your trolling my thread to make a point that has nothing to do with fertilizers and everything to do with your general views on another member.bro, are you offended by "a fucking root boiler"?
if you're concerned with critical feedback on your thread maybe make it private or put circle jerk in the title so others know what to expect.
Calmag has become essential in all my grows, i know not why but it is intriguing how it greens up and doubles the growth rate against those without that can be slow, stunted and showing a touch of purple. This thread was a great read. It made me realize I have forgotten way too much shit about growing and I need to spend some time re-reading a ton of stuff. I kinda forgot about mobile and immobile nutrients, cations and anions. I realize it wasn't spoken about here on this thread but I started doing searches for Calcium deficient OG Kush and I think I have nailed down my problems in soil.
word
Your hysterical tone and faulty logic cant sugarcoat that fact that RM has questionable beliefs and practices that many consider ridiculous. Calling attention to his dubious claims and know it all attitude is not trolling. I provided context to make better sense of rm's "thinking". It is useful information despite your fear of a dissenting voice. No im offended by everything you said and it just comes across like your trolling my thread to make a point that has nothing to do with fertilizers and everything to do with your general views on another member.
Maybe you should be the one to take this private with them or make a thread and call it 'circle my aggressive opinions' as your the only one whos off topic and off putting so far in three pages....
Please
Tis a scientific paper explaining that high doses of N lower THC which is why I feed low doses of N and was posted to explain just that when another member asked me why so low amounts of N but according to you all the stuff I say backed by science is foolish or is it worthless, I forget?Anyone have an explanation of why the paper cited above, high N = low THC would be relevant to MMJ outcomes? The paper cited examines male and female plants that are dosed with N , leaves are collected and dried then analyzed. Im unclear on how this tells us anything about female flowers.
I'd appreciate the understanding.

What ever dude, plant matter is plant matter. Hemp growers grow for fiber and if the THC goes over a set amount it can't considered hempNo bro, it might be a scientific paper but it looks like you are misinterpreting.
You believe this paper is a basis for feeding low N? Use your scientific rigor to explain how the thc content of dried male and female leaves is useful for determining the content of thc in female flowers.
