Selecting dimmable driver for single CXB3590

Dear Dudets and Dudes greeting.
I would like to get a taste for LED sensation and need advice from you able minded folks as I am a bit daft on the tech part of things. (yes I know, long&useless intro)
The idea is to have a clean stealth operation for a very mildly medicated dude in prohibition land. and should the need arise in a near future, double the size of the growing chambers and building a new identical lamp.
I want to test a micro setup between 12"x12" to a maximum of 18"x18" with LED.
Looking for the best, (yet the money is an issue) I understand CXB3590 cd bin 80cri 36V would be a good option. or is it oversized?
BUT, I can not find a driver that would do the job. I am soooooooooo confused with watts, Vf If etc... all the info gathered on this and other forums, videos etc have been neatly compiled in a messy excel file. Yet, I still can't wrap my head around driver selection. So if you could help with a couple of options, I would be much obliged.
I might be jumping my guns here but once I get the hang of the initial setup, I would add blues, reds and IR seperately AND on dimmers. (probably for the second lamp).

LPF 90D 42 for 18"x18"
LPF 40 LPF 60 good for 12"x12"

HLG 40 or 80 type A if you want built in dimmer in driver so you don't need external Potentiometer. More expensive than LPF

I recommended 4xCLU048-1212 and HLG-60H-350B in a very similar thread recently. Same price and efficiency as the 3590, much more spread. It's what I would do in a tiny space.

Greetings Robincnn. I would rather go passive but I live in a land far far away where there are no real alternatives to heatsinkusa.com. Websites that sell heatsinks are not specialized and are rediculously expensive. So unfortunatly I think I'll have to go active until I find a proper supplier for larger heatsinks.
What size heatsink for passive would you recommend?

Greetings Señior Jorge Gonzales! thanks for your feedback. I have to say my guts tell me your suggestion should be a better alternative. I am having a hard time sourcing the CLU048. Any cree you could suggest?

You will struggle with TME.eu for Citizen COBs. They are not allowed to sell outside their regional area(Poland). That is Citizen's sales policy. They do offer good prices and low shipping costs (within E.U.) on other products. There is a company in the U.K. called Marl that offer a wide of Citizen COBs at prices just slightly more than CDI in USA. £8.23 ($11.88 or 10.41euro) plus VAT(20% in U.K. & postage).

@JorgeGonzales, A high percentage of the posts that I read of yours are informative & helpful. Thank you for taking the time to add useful content to this community. It is an endearing contrast to the vitriolic and egocentric responses so many threads seem to attract. Kudos to you Mr. Gonzales.

Sure, try to score some cheap CXA2530s if you aren't in a country CDI ships to.

@Will Thayer found some cheap ones at https://www.fasttech.com/product/2250000-cree-cxa2530-60w-4000k-6000lm-cob-led-array. That's good for 160lm/w, which is nothing to sneeze at.

And thanks for the compliments Will, but I'm just trying to figure out all of this stuff too, with only the occasional trolling along the way. The new to leds sticky was too much.

I think sometimes folks forget that we all have to start somewhere. What is old news to some is important information to others.

When threads get like that I just avoid them. There is enough hostility in the real world. Seems pointless for people to bicker anonymously over the internet. I sometimes wonder what future anthropologists and archivists will think of us.

Growmau5 found those CXA from Fasttech, I just purchased a shed load when he mentioned them in his "mega Veg light" video.

For info, last time I grew lambs bread, it was nearly 20 years ago with street lamps... i am glad I'll be able to get back to this magnificent hobby.

ok, update on the project... not CXB3590 any longer. I want to spread the light sources. I looked at CXA1507, but

Therefore I concluded that 1507 are a bit too old school. I am on 3xCXA2530 3500k, cri 80, 800ma, Vf=37.
