i have an analog and a digital one. either way it shouldn't matter where you place them. just avoid placing them directly under / near lights, because of the radiated heath the RH% will be lower there RH% means the amount of water air can hold under certain temperature. The hotter, the more water it can hold.Is it a digital or analogue sping hygrometer?

Like a digital one from a fan speed controlerIs it a digital or analogue sping hygrometer?
Fan speed controllers are normally thermostats not hygrometers, they measure temperature not humidity.Like a digital one from a fan speed controler
Yeah I have one of those to my Max is laying on my soil and its reading 30 it's summer now and have 4 600hps in veg atm to so lights are 24 hourFan speed controllers are normally thermostats not hygrometers, they measure temperature not humidity.
Most will want to record the hottest part of the grow tent and keep that 25°c or under so generally at the top of your canopy.
I use a max\min thermometer at the tops of my plants and a hygrometer at the side of my grow tent away from the lights.
Yeah30 degrees celcius?
At soil level yes thats hot, your canopy must be baking.Shits hot I know
