Spider mites, flowering week 5

Prayer....no really, it depends on what your situation is. Are you growing indoor or outdoor? How large are your plants? How bad is the infestation? Are your plants covered in webs, or have you just spotted a few on the leaves? If you catch them early you have a decent chance of fighting them off without damaging your buds. They are not easy to deal with, no matter what and the 5th week of flower is when they usually show up.

I'm thinking just ride them out, anything you spray on your plants this late in the game will wind up in your final product.

They are indoor closet SOG, CFL grow, I've seen tan spotting for a couple weeks now, thought it was a deficiency until today. They aren't on the top colas yet, I've been pruning off lower leaves and popcorn buds that they've infested. My buddy told me I could use hydrogen peroxide, half cup per gallon? Does that even work?

For this late in the game......I might try Mitey wash...use as directed...Been told it works good for late stage infestations. The thing is when spraying the whole plant. Be sure you lower the RH and up the air flow to dry out those buds asap! Don't want to start any mold problem.

buy them thank your self later . I had these stupid bugs before tried every thing except burning down the room . nothing worked
Don't use these that's horrible. spray the plants down hard with plain water to forcibly remove them off the plant repeat every couple of days and they'll be gone in no time... those pest strips let off a poisonous vapor and it even says in the warnings not to use around food or around where people are living. definitely don't want that coating your plants. they are more for putting in a property nobody stays in to keep infestations at bay.... but they do work. I don't consider them ethical at all though.

I am growing for my own medicinal use, so I 'dont want to put anything on it that could make its way into the final product. I am going to look into this mighty wash

I DID NOT SUGGEST SPRAY LMAO . next time actually read and look at what I suggested .
I really hope you don't uses theses strips in flower. Yes, I own them as well and they are can be harmful to people around it (do not be in a room for more tha 4 hours with it). You are making toxic smoke if you are using these in flower. Theses are ok to use during veg, I would still wash my plants down after.

Mighty wash is 100% safe and you can drink it. Spray top and bottom leaves, do again in 3 days. Then once more in three days. Make sure to spray the rim of the bots and the top layers of your medium they will try and run. Also good idea to vacuum and clean your tent around your plants.

Then those people need to stop. Flip that baby over read the warning label. Do not use in non vented spots and be around for more then 4 hours. http://www.wired.com/2014/01/cdc-warning-misuse-pest-strips/

Its a vapor that comes up, if you hang this during flower those vapors will stay in your cannabis and be toxic when smoking. If you are doing this you need to stop as you are making toxic smoke.
