nice build, looks nice. I had issues with reflectors, as well. I got mine from PLC and another vendor to replace the bad ones I got. I just got in my 67mm convex lenses that I mounted inside of the Ledil reflectors. They are 90 degree lenses I got from China. Waited months, but they really focus the light and were worth the wait I had to glue them in with some super glue dhesive with rubber cement additive.. I used those lenses also, but they reduce light by 7%. peace

Hi, @robincnn. I just used the 16/3 cable to get power to the rig, then solid-core 18 gauge wire to wire up the COBs.

I couldn't get the Kingbrite reflectors to mount. The lip of the base of the reflectors, where the reflector attaches to the reflector adaptor, is too wide. It conflicts with the electrical lead housings on the COB holder.

LEDiL on the left:

The margin outside of the attachment points for the holder clips is wider in the Kingbrite reflector.

The LEDiL reflector is narrow enough to fit down in between the lead holders on the COB holder:

Whereas the Kingbrite reflector sits on top of these parts and the attachment clips in the reflector adapter can't reach up in to the reflector to clip in:

I JUST HAD THIS PROBLEM!!!!!!!!! I'M FUCKING PISSED. What did you do to fix this?!?!?!,!, I just ordered some M3x12&14mm screw's to give it some length. Hope it helps when they arrive.

AAAAHHHHH SO YOU NEED REFLECTORS FROM PLC!!!!
These could be used if you were using some weird cob holder that allowed it to fit. But not in the chip loks. Chinese rip offs?

Digi-key mouser and others have the correct Ledil reflector, as well as PLC and the other locals. peace

Been fixed with a little round filing!

nice job. DIY is about being flexible. I added a 90 degree lens to the Ledit reflector to focus the light even better. Check it out got these from China. Waited like eight weeks or more for them to get here I glued them inside the reflectors with some super glue rubber cement. peace.. ->

All right, peeps. I finished my light a while back and have finally hung it and started a new grow. I figure now is a good time to post the final pictures for this thread.

So far it works beautifully. The only thing that I might change is that I might try and mount the driver up off of the surface of the board it is on to get some air circulation around it. At full power, it heats up to about 64 degrees C and every bit of cooling I can get is good. I would like to find a way to put it on a DIN rail or something.

Also, I have come to the conclusion that I need a PAR/PPFD/quantum meter. Any suggestions for a good one without spending a ton of money would be welcomed.

Nice looking lights man this is what im working on 8 cobs CREE CXB3590 (3500K 80 CRI) Group CD are ran by 2 HLG-240-c1750ma with 3 LDD-700H mounted to a LDD-3 Driver Board on line 1 i have 16 deep reds 45v max line 2 i have 8 deep reds 4 ir and 3 uv 42v max and on line 3 i have 8 blues 32v max. Its watage draw will be around 590w

my latest DIY. Its in veg right now so reds are off. Around 445w in whites, 75w in red and 42w in blue for a total watts of 560 for about a 5'x5' area.
