Hello. Grown outdoors a lot but this it my first indoor grow. These plants look fine in every way but the leaves are all wrinkled up for some reason. First set of leaves had a fan blowing on them so I figured that was it but the next set are doing the same thing now. Temps are bang on and so is humidity, their under a 400 watt MH that's dialed back to 75% and sitting about 3 feet away from it. Any ideas?

looks okay, first few sets of leaves always tend to show characteristics for me haha, I would wait till you get a few nodes if the larger fan leaves continue then maybe look into it, light could possibly be closer but you can be th judge of that based on heat. If your not changing any conditions on them it should straighten out, doesn't seem to be showing any deficiencies, nice and green.

Ya I wasn't overly concerned until I started seeing the second set doing the same thing. I've just never seen them wither up like that before without there being a problem.

direct fan could have them transpiring more which causes them to suck up more nutes. if they're crispy too, perhaps that was a factor. indirect fan is best

It's tough to not jump in and fix things. Let's sit back a touch and see what happens. Be careful not to overwater indoors. Wrinkley leaves for me were always a sign of possible ph, overfert, etc.

I'm sure things will straighten out. No pun intended. Be patient.

Ya I'll just see how she goes. Made the first mistake by using MG soil. Goin DWC with it so I didn't put much thought into soil only to find out later people have had trouble with MG. I chose the one with the least amount of nutrients so hopefully there's not enough in there to be causing issues. She's growin fast and I've only given her a half dose of cal mag so far.

It's all good. Just don't feed them anything for a long while no matter how bad the urge is. Try and ph your water to 6.2ish if you can. Other than that, don't overwater! Overloving can kill!

Yup definitely not over watering. Nice thing about a solo cup is you can tell by weight where your at. Any idea how long that plant will take to use up the nutes in the soil? The MH blend was .03 across the board. I was planning on just cal mag till I drop it in the net pot for DWC

I've never grown in the dwc style so I'm not really sure how big you want them. I guess I'd scrap the FF idea. Just plain phd water until you're ready.

I look forward to seeing the dwc run. Should be cool. I guess I lied when I told you I never grew dwc. I left a few clones in one of my clone contraptions and they went off. I just left them go. They did get huge. Memories. Good luck!
