Apex coated alfalfa seeds ...any uses?

I'm not 100% sure but I think it's covered with apex or something I just got a quick glance....I was p.o when I realized once I got home the alfalfa meal they said they had was actually treated alfalfa seeds. Well it says right on the fucking paper not for human consumption! It's a damn 50 lb bag...I wanted to make seed sprout tea from them ..but I don't think I'll be able to ..right...and I also ordered a bag of untreated barley seeds that I decided not to pick up because I didnt have all my money with me...so can I use them? If not I'ma go exchange them for the barley seeds

I also was lied to about my kelp meal I ordered ....it was supposed to be 45 for a 50 lb bag and it was 65...but it say seaweed meal on the front ...is that the same thing ....I know they are both good but Im not familiar with them..I know kelp is a seaweed and all but I wanna make sure they are the same thing...may be a dumb q sorry

the reason they say it's not for human consumption is because alfalfa seeds are poisonous/toxic to humans and primates.
as to whether they are coated with something I don't know.

I guess sprouting does something to the cannavanine (sp?) and makes it less toxic or something.
i'm not super sure why, I just remember readin that alfalfa seeds were bad for humans

There's quite a bit of confusion around what's kelp and what's seaweed. I'm no expert, but, the 'seaweed meal' generally sold and used here in the UK is 'Ascophyllum nodosum', it's never labelled as kelp. I think most seaweed or kelp meal sold for agricultural purposes worldwide is this form of kelp, maybe of differing qualities, but I suppose it is worth checking.

it's called ocean harvest brand...I just went and read the bag..here is what it says :ocean harvest technology
(Sargassceae, gracilariqceae, ulvaceca) Bio-Ag... gar analysis : max salt 3.5% ..Max crude fiber 7%....Max iodine 0.025%...Max sulfate 6.5%....Max potassium 0.2%....so it it good drugg or should I tell the feed store to get bent.

I didnt pick up the barley seeds but i have them waiting. .just to be sure i can't use the alfalfa seeds for sst correct? ...and I'd how hard it is to grow alfalfa but I might till up one side of our garden and toss em all over...I guess I can try to make meal from it or use it for a green input for the compost. .prob be rockin for that too

i'd say no on the alfalfa for ssts
if you want an easy sst, go get some high quality, natural cocowater
same shit, easier to do.
well close enough anyways

I guess the seaweed is all alge of some kind ...I didn't see anything saying kelp underneath it...is this stuff worth a damn or not
