Try clicking fedex, priority is expensive. I don't remember using priority from them or it being ridiculously expensive.

That is expensive, aluminum doesn't weigh much either..my dad gets car parts sent all the time to his house and they are heavy and free shipping... I'd look for the pin heatsinks from another supplier.

Ye ur telling me lol its ridiculous to say the least. I wish I could find another manufacturer that will custom make a heat sink to similar dimension as the 5.886, I really love the idea of the cobs being mounted to a large panel rather then individual pin heat sinks coz they're probly more expensive tbh, I haven't seen any for less then 30aud each wich is concerning since I was planning on 6x cxb 3070 with a mea well 185-1050.

Really need a decent heat sink option. Maybe ill have to just go with 4x cxb3590 with iceled 550s or wait till cutters have some pin sinks available.... Waiting isn't fun:(

Have you talked to greengenes? He sells parts on his site and I read recently he's supplying the 140mm pin heatsinks for like 20$.

^^^ I guess he is choosy who he does business with.. I sent him a personal message about a week ago inquiring about reflectors that he sells, since his website says out of stock....... Nada

Maybe try contacting @robincnn from Northern Grow Lights.. He is very prompt with great customer service. I PM'ed him about the same reflectors (that were also out of stock) and had a response in an hour or two.

Hard to find good/any customer service these days.

everybody wants pin heatsinks for their builds right now and everyone is currently out of pre tapped pre drill. goes to show the demand, and the buying power that our growing community has. it also shows that there is plenty of pie for everyone to have a piece. assuming they can keep the ingredients in stock, lol.

there is always CDI web and AliExpress if you are in a hurry.

I actually called Heatsink USA in November 2015 when I started learning CAD. I spoke with the owner (some chick) and sent her a file with hole patterns for cxb3070 & cxb3590. IDEAL holder and adapter configs. I lied and said I was a moderator for a very popular horticulture & aquarist forum and that our community was in need of a cookie cutter prepared heatsink, and that our buying power was (and is) considerable. After 20 mins on the phone with her, she simply has NOT interested. so fuck them.

I just placed an order for 52 heat sinks from Alibaba.
133mm Pin Fin, pre-drilled/tapped to my specs
for about $12.50 each including shipping.
The shipping is a little pricey, but the extraordinarily cheap manufacturing costs make up for it. My sinks are $8.90 ea before shipping.

well im excited to see what kind of pie you bake with 52 f'in heatsinks. sounds like its going to be legit.

could you imagine if we were all out in the daylight like the guys running saltwater reef tanks, and we could meet up, pool our resources and order in the 1000's !!
one day perhaps. if there is anything left for us after Phillip Morris gets its hands in our industry.

I reached out with a similar request last year. They shared all the details. Then i mentioned low volume multiple orders/horticulture and then never heard back from them.

yep, pretty much. she wanted me to buy something like 250 lbs of a single profile to get a break. Like what rapid led does with their T-slot. it comes from HSUSA.

They told me their discounts were based on the weight of the order,if I remember right 10% started at 250 lbs. They are only a couple hour drive from me.
