I run my water through a sediment filter, and a carbon filter. I have no idea what the ph, or ppm's are. I would not recommend ro filters unless you run hydro. RO water with organics ironically can cause many problems. If you get the 25 dollar filter housings from home depot you can put 2 together, and run 1 sediment filter, and one carbon filter. You can also get them on amazon pretty damn cheap. I change my filters about every 6 months on the cold, and 1 year on the hot.
That's what you want. Honestly the flow rate through this size filter would not be adequate for an entire house. I just have them hooked into my utility sink in my grow room. More than enough. that's why I don;t change the filters that often. If you want to change them monthly to be safe you can.
Man I have been super interested in making some of this...how awesome is this stuff...and how much would u use on a plant over a season so I would know about how much h I need to make...if you could break it down for a simple person like myself I would greatly appreciate that...and making fish hydrosylate. ...it's supposed to now have a smell when it's finished...but that's to a human ...could an animal that likes fish such as a bear or coon which have much better noses that we do be able to smell it?
I use the lacto serum a little differently than most. I start to use it week 3 of flower and use it through the end of flower. I don't use it much in veg. Maybe once.
Not at all. I get taco leaves on most of my strains. I try to push the limits, and taco leaves are a result. I finally got my Mars og to taco leaf this round. She is the furthest form the lights as well.
Lacto Serum twice per week, week 3 through up to one week until the end of flower can do it usually all by itself. However I also use Natural Mystic from DEM the same weeks 3 through one week before flower, and I will foliar lab serum and natural mystic once per week throughout the life of the plants. A couple of compost teas throughout the life, along with a ferment plant extract made from kelp, alfalfa, willow bark, and moringa helps as well. I also have been messing with adding weight to the final product. I have been using 1oz. of kelp per gallon of water, and 1/2 oz. of fish hydrolysate per gallon of water weeks 3-7 of flower. It has added to the weight of the final product.
forgot to add that I get taco leaves mostly on plants with some sativa in them. My indicas taco leaf either much less, or some not at all.
