This is considered a problem?
The girl had a knife and was detained for 4 1/2 months.
Israel protects its citizens, something Americans are being shamed into not doing anymore.
Know what you never see in the news from BEFORE the film of Palestinian kids throwing stones at Israeli military check points and they end up shooting one?
This is how it goes daily. The Israeli Army people begin the day by calling cultural based and religious based insults over loud speakers at the Palestinian's in the "camps"......Adult Palestinian's are used to it and "ignore" the shit tossed at them. The children, being children I guess, are not as tough skinned and begin to yell some back at the Israeli military personnel.
They say even more insulting things back to the Palestinian's. Till, at some point, the kids start throwing rocks and bottles. Out come the guns as this is a "threat to the security" of the Israeli military "guards". Sure as shit some kid with a good arm, gets one through the gun ports of the bunker and hits an Israeli military person. The shooting starts and the kid is shot (The part you saw on the news).
I see this and just don't "get it".....The amount of "hate" over there, emanating from both sides is deadly for each in the end (Almost like the hate between political parties here - with out the gunfire,,,yet)...I've been told that this is done on purpose by some to kill in vengeance for lost relatives. And by others for "sport"...based on their bigoted hate!
I do NOT subscribe to this! BARBARIC ! Are we becoming the Nazi's of our past?
The military units used for this are mostly "home guard" units. These consist of people filling out their mandatory rotational service fulfilment that each citizen "owes" on a rotating time basis. (Must do 2 active straight directly in the Army and are recalled for local and regional guard assignments like our National Guard from time to time) Every home contains a Full on military select fire weapon and this is your "service" weapon. Lots of Galils and M-16's and I'm beginning to see more Tavor TAR-21's coming home now too.
How do I know these things? I have family over there! Between the Polish and the Russian in us. You would think there would be a Jew in the woodpile somewhere eh? The wife and I are pretty watered down..... I have a brother, and she a cousin, who became active and are devout practitioners. They have emigrated to Israel and became citizens...
Here's an interesting note..Due to their service in active combat. They each have Government prescriptions for PTSD and other service related issues for . . . drum roll . . . Medical marijuana! Yup the government simply issued them by a simple request and a minor Dr.s office visit! They fill them monthly!
The research being done over there in MM is world leading!
@ttystikk
In the long run I agree after seeing this and hearing of other goings on from our relatives! I'm appalled and voice my displeasure of the goings on every time I'm there to visit!
Glad you said "Israel" and not "Jews" as most of us with the blood aren't like that.....(1/8th and 1/4 respectively - non practicing)
