FIMing

This may be a really stupid question im not sure but ile risk it, when you top a plant you can then top again, well if you FIM a plant and get the 4 tops can you then FIM each top afain so like end up with 16 tops ? Has anybody tried ?.

FIMing is hit or miss in my book. I suppose I could learn but have never felt the need to. I simply top normal.

But sure, why not? I make shit loads with "normal" topping..

You would need to fim every top branch that comes up after the first fim. I never tried it though so I have no idea what it would do.

Well ive never tried it myself either ive just tried topping for the first time and pleased with the results but think ile try the FIM on a couple of plants next time rd, trying to run before i can walk lol but why not, thanks guys.

Yes, sort of, if you get them right. Problem is to FIM more than once you need to give them time to heal in between and most people don't veg long enough to do that. With my outdoors I'll FIM them at least twice as I veg them somewhere between 8-12 weeks. These were super-cropped, once they produced off-shoots all tops were FIM'd twice and produced some nice colas.

Hey no problem, I train my indoors (one s-crop/1 FIM) but typically veg for about 4-5 weeks or longer. Main thing I've noticed over time is you want to let them recover and be in good shape before flowering and my best results seem to be when I leave them alone for 2-3 weeks after any training.
