The Main-Lining Thread

I just came across this thread and the concept of mainlining and this is amazing. I am in the process of building my base for "Jackie" my bleu cheese. I topped her a mere 4 days ago and she didn't even skip a beat. This thread has been priceless for mining knowledge. Thanks everyone and enjoy the now.

You should be having a nice 4th of July!
That's the plan!

I shared the love and gave a half dozen beautiful clones to a friend.

Kept the best one as my new mother for myself.

Question: How much of my lower/secondary growth should I clean up & how long after I've switched to flowering should I wait to do this?

I left town for the next two days and didn't have time to veg out a week after cleaning lower growth.

I ask because I might be able to take another dozen clones this weekend if I don't hurt my ladies by doing so.

Each strain will react differently. When I was working with a sativa I found that leaving the lowers and extra nodes increased the plant vigor. I mainly removed all of the weak side growth and lower nodes when the plant started to flower.

I'm going to play it safe and leave my girls alone till it's time to clean up side growth.

Good thing I saved a mother plant from the original cuttings in the beginning!

They've grown about 5-6 inches since Monday, two plants are throwing 9 blade leaves! They're on day 6 of 12/12.

Gave them their last GH Grow feeding today. I didn't know that using RO water without CalMag was going to cause some issues eventually. After confirming my pH was on point at 6.8 I added 5 ml/gal CalMag prior to adding the Grow nutes.

Luckily I'm catching the culprit very early on so that is great news!

This is what they look like right now, I'll post more pics in a week.

What do you think guys and girls?

What's good everyone at rollitup!? First post here for me, doing the whole online thing has taken me a bit to get comfy with as I am a semi recently registered mmp. Figured I'd get to it and show you some jillybean I've been working, looking for that nice orange creamsicle pheno, maybe a hint more space queen dom, closer to the candystore.. with these tasty phenos I can't decide lol so if anybody has any advice, questions, comments, 2 cents on potential pheno identification, all is welcome! Thanks in advance and I hope you follow me on my journey to a personally perfect jillybean. Here are phenos 2, 3, and 4. 1 was a dude and I'll post 5 soon, thinking it's also a dude. The first top view shot shows (from left to right) #5, #3(in back), #2(front), and #4. Again any helpful info and jillybean wisdom is much appreciated! I'm a youngin as they say and have much to learn, but much to accomplish! :bigjoint:

Forgot to mention I'm using supersoil with roots organic and a 250 actual watt cree led panel by rapidled. HIGHLY recommended I'm sure there's a post here on riu that compares them to A51 and if you do need to go led I've heard A51 has been top dog. Either way this rapid onyx grow does work. For air I set up a 165 cfm inline exhaust pulling through a 150 cfm phat filter and pushing out the tent. For intake I have the rear passive flap open and custom made a doohicky flower pot,cut out the bottom and put bug mesh over the end to let more passive intake take place. Anyways, here's jilly #5 that I promised to post up. What do you guys think? Dude? Still early but I like to entertain myself with thought lol

Does look like a ball - earliest one I have ever seen - great picture!

Jilly Bean gave me three phenos from seed - Grapefruit, tangerine, and honey orange. The next generation clones gave me vicks Vap-O-Rub!

Cheers,
Mo

Lovely bouquets...

Mainlined under 130w flouro. Cks 2 crown royal on far end and 2white widow closer. One is half the size for no discernable reason. She will need an extra week or two veg before joing the others in flower room

Thanks for the compliment mo! And vicks vape rub sounds like some funk hahah nice man, so far I really can't tell. Stem rubs indicate (of the 3 females) a tangerine/citrus, a baby poo skunky orange, and one that smells like a very mellow and smooth orange. Again, it is very early and I'm just speculating. #5 turned out to be what I believe was just a herm or a very feminine male haha, so I culled him. Pretty happy about the three I emerged with, pics up soon!!

I believe I'm dealing with some high nutrient stress, particularly nitrogen and also some high heat (max about 84 F). As you can tell it's my first indoor haha still getting the hang of it. It's much easoer letting the mama nature do her thing in symbiosis with the plant, but hey I do like having control over every last variable. Aside from that these aphids and gnats gotta go NOW. Suggestions? I'm thinking either neem oil treatment or ladybugs, just unsure whether I want to introduce another insect into the realm. Thanks farmers!
