Do beneficial bacteria only thrive in organic solutions or can they survive in synthetic fertilizers as well?
I just use some basic organic compost solution lIke botanicares stuff. Ide really like to make my own. What's a good tea recipe if you don't mind me asking?I'll say this. The living soil will take a hard hit from synthetics.
They do not "kill" the living things in the soil out right.....But it ain't doing them any favors!
The use of living bacteria in the soil, along with synthetics has an interesting and effective result!
Now I have not done much background reading on the subject at real "paper" levels or research.
I have found enough research to say that, Yes, adding bio's to SOIL based synthetic grows do show increased plant response!
On some of my last synthetic runs. I added my simple bio AACT tea to them every week...some 2 times a week....ALL of the plants in those runs required that I reduce the amount of nutrient used and/or feedings themselves as they began to show over feeding rather quickly. These were feed my normal synthetic mix to start. In plants where I added another supplement. I had to start at reduced nutrient ratio's by 50% and those got to be too much too!
With the growth of available bio's for use in synthetic growing....That reflects the fact that they do have a positive effect in my book.
Learn to make and use a simple bio AACT Tea....FAR cheaper then any bottled or dry packed store product! WAY more active living bio's too!
Good luck
