2003 50th anniversary...over $50K new...I can finally afford one now that they're 13 years old and less than half price, so I keep watching Hemmings ads...always wanted one, killer color anniversary package...

If I were going to be modest then I'd get another LTD Crown Vic. Had one and kept it in good condition until a couple years ago. It was like driving a sofa. Hell we even rebuilt the engine in 02. It ran 9/10.
Now if it were ANY car I'd grab a 64Tbird.

I know where one's sitting at right now. Old girlfriend's dad has had it sitting in his garage since god knows when. He won't come off that thing. It's a nice ride and still runs as of 3 years ago anyways. He's stated a few time's jokingly it's his coffin. I don't think he's joking though.

I'll bet if you called American pickers....theyd get it off him...once they flash cash in his face ...alot of car collectors will only sell to serious buyers .
