I have a compliant. Where I live is a cow town but you can't find decent steaks or brisket. Milk has a nasty ass after taste and ground beef smells bad straight from the store..

I've bought organic milk from out of state that taste fine. But any milk from Colorado taste like complete sh#t! It taste like xanax or something..

I live in town that is 50% hispanic, you can find all the mexican cuts. But trying to find a 1.5" thick steak is damn near impossible..

What's the damn deal? Is it because of different grasses or do they pump the cows full of antibiotics because of the weather?

I literally crapped my whole underware drawer when i converted imperial to metric with my fingers seizing the thickness of the steak. fucking epic bro! lol

I know you wont like this one but try eating less meat, lentils and beans are extremely under rated. I think a lot of the processed foods have so many taste aditives (be it spices or chemicals) that it kind of makes the tastes buds get used to being constantly stimulated and when you eat natural foods they taste bland. I think it takes a good few weeks to get used to how good pulses and vegetables can taste.

Man out here in spain its easy to get good meats but you do need to search, but butchers will cut the steak as wide as you want it.However not many cuts are supplied usually unless you go into a fod market. In my shitty village theres a moroccan butcher he does some good Girona beef t bone steak for 9,90 a kg and im sure hed even cut 2 inches for you buts hed fucking laugh his ass off doing it. Tbh im even sure hed pop out his phone and film you asking for it, thats unheard of here man i dont think people got the btus to cook that shit right. lol

Ask for a filet roast...and cut your own steaks. I have a grass fed open range cattle farm here and get the best beef. Its just pricey.
Also think about going in a whole cow with some other people. Its raised basically with your name on it till it goes to the butcher...ask the farmer about it...that way you have all the roasts and choice pieces you want.
Lastly, you know the farmers are injecting all sorts of shit in those cows, right? Xanax flavored beef? Where can I get some?

That's the kind of place I get mine. They butcher what they raise and it is tender and tasty...screw that grocery store tough crap you need a tablespoon of meat tenderizer on and it still tastes rough...I miss the old local butcher shops of my youth...

Lol, I found the same thing after moving to Colorado. there are almost zero butcher shops, and it's damn near impossible to find a good, evenly cut t-bone.

Spring wildflowers includiing mustard, thistles, etc. When I was a kid, spring milk always tasted 'off' due to this. Now days (at least in Calif) most milk is from factory dairies where the cattle are penned up and fed the same formula feed thruout the year; and results in consistent flavored milk

Have you asked to have one cut? A 3/4" steak is a "thick cut" at most supermarkets around here. I usually grab someone and have them cut me a 2" thick porterhouse. I've been going for hangar and NY strips lately, just got turned on to hangers and they are probably the most flavorful steak I've ever had, strong flavor, like beef heart.

Hell yeah!!! If I am not mistaken a porter house is a over sized t-bone.. A T-bone consist of a NY strip and a filet.. I'll pick a porter house over a ribeye.. But I also love sirloin...

Oh man, after being stuck indoors all winter I've recently gone outdoor grill crazy. I'm eating too-much-meat, almost forgot I can grill vegetables too. Skewered veggie shishkabab is awesome. Anyways, I grilled pork chops and chicken yesterday and steak the day before.

Good to see you back danksta!
