I just need to know how long after lights go out do plants go to sleep?
Heres what happened. My timer was going off early. But I didn't know how early so I waited to see when it went off so I can adjust the timer. So when I took a second look it was off already but 10 minutes prior to that it was on. So anyways I turned it back on and waited until the correct time and turned it off so that it'll be on the right time. I am asking this because i needed to know if I may have accidently sent them back to vegplants don't sleep.
Explanation belowI just need to know why this is important ?
It will vary with strains, so there is no one valid answer ?
They do relax, and on my plants, at least most of them, when the lights are on, the leaves are up, pointing towards the light. I have forgotten to close the door to my room sometimes, and in that dark area, even though not completely black, most, if not all leaves are down after an hour That's what I have found to be the case in my roomsplants don't sleep.
Thanks bro. I think they will be fine. I don't even think the lights were off for 10 minutesThey do relax, and on my plants, at least most of them, when the lights are on, the leaves are up, pointing towards the light. All that will happen is that you missed one day closer to finish. It will take a week of bringing it back to veg running at 18/6.Heres what happened. My timer was going off early. So you're telling me that it'll just be finished one day later and to pur it back in veg it'll take a week of 18/6?All that will happen is that you missed one day closer to finish. It will take a week of bringing it back to veg running at 18/6.
Yea mostly it's the Indicia dominants that I have found that to be true. Sativa dominants don't seem to droop much. Maybe I just have a lot of deadbeat plants (lol)i haven't noticed that. i'll come in right before lights on sometimes and they are still perky.
Maybe 3 day's of the 18/6, no sooner though. But it takes a while for re-veg to occur. So you're telling me that it'll just be finished one day later and to pur it back in veg it'll take a week of 18/6?
So do you think I have I'll have any Hermie's or other issues?Technically, Once exposed to the 730nm band light for the proper amount of time IN NATURE.....About 2 hrs to "sleep" as you might put it.
RM3 is correct as I found playing with supplemental 730nm lighting....It does differ between strains.....
Now then, If you use a supplemental 730nm for about 10 min at just before to just after lights out....THAT put them to "sleep" right there with that 10 min!
Hey Who (made a rhyme), why aren't you at work? What time is it there?Technically, Once exposed to the 730nm band light for the proper amount of time IN NATURE.....About 2 hrs to "sleep" as you might put it.
