As with the PPM meter 'argument' let's agree to disagree, not jack this thread, and part as friends...I have one that about 36 inches in a solo cup right now. It just started flowering. Its just starting to get root bound to the point where im worrying about it. You guys and your definition of root bound.... I hate to say it but root bound is a way more serious condition that what you guys are throwing it at. Those plants are barely starting to circle. The roots are still nice and white. Of course every transplant will make the plant grow on top as the bottom grows, and small container sizes slow growth. But being root bound and choking out is totally different than being to the point where it need an upcan. You guys are killin me.
Whether root lock or not, the point is moot. The OP very wisely transplanted and the plant is fine...
