one yellow leaf?!?! not a big deal really. FF lacks cal/mag it needs to be supplemented in. That plant will not produce much, not even worth the electric bill imho.
Lol, which one?? There's 2, the small with the dark brown yellow spots, it's like day 4 of it showing bad signs and it looking really bad :(, then I have an older one by just a week and it's getting so tall, this one is having the bottom older leaves turning into yellow slowly...ugh this is a lot of work.

Omg, I could just toss them both into the garbage barrel but instead I transplanted the Blueberry (small plant) into a big pot , also yesterday I gave her some Calmag. She's looking horrible but she grew a lot, the new top growth, all greenish n pretty...I think I'll give her few more days. So the second plant, White Widow ( taller plant) is just getting taller and taller really fast. I think I'll stay with her a little longer..

What did the blueberry's roots look like? brownish or bright white? How much soil could you see within the root ball? and what amount of water had you been giving her in the solo cup?

Notice the orange spots and cupping leafs? Is that not calcium deficiency? And what largely causes calcium deficiency? Low transpiration, and what typically causes low transpiration? root lock and over-watering. case closed.

Bk is most likely right, she is ready for transplant immediately...I had this exact problem a couple of grows ago and I thought ok I've only been in solo cups for a couple of weeks so it couldn't be root bound right, low and behold it was...I transplanted and shit went right back to normal.View attachment 3658884

$bkbb..I transplanted the BB earlier today, her roots were whitish, the bottom roots going around in a circle of the cup, It seemed to me that, yes she needed to be transplanted :) Been watering them both mostly every other day. Ill show new pics tonight when they get up! lol

Hate to say I didn't take a pic of the roots, but I went ahead and put her in the big pot. Ill show pics of both tonight. For lights I am using a 200 watt/ 2700k warm spectrum

CFL light can be placed VERY close to plants. I put 150w about 2" above my seedlings.

hlf a cup of water for BB and about 1 cup for the WW :) how am I doing???
4 ounces of water for a plant that is 4 weeks old in 6-8 ounces of medium...root lock and suffocation due to low transpiration ...Sorry A.W.

Cel, I am not trying to belittle or insult your mistake. It was a newbie error and learning experience. Good job transplanting! Since you are already seeing new and healthy growth...Great Job!!!

In the bigger pots now that she is recovering from her root locked condition you should be able to add more water. Depending on how big the new pot is.

Cel.....how can we help you if you dont help us settle our meaningless arguements? Can you at least describe what the ball of roots looked like so we can get back to helping you?

Roots were whitish and looked very much alive but growing onto another They were obviously running out of space in that cup

Yes but barely.
For me they needed to be transplanted a while ago...I guess it depends on your grow style, I try to achieve maximum growth potential, but if that's not your goal you can grow a healthy plant full term in a solo cup if that's what you desire to do.

I have one that about 36 inches in a solo cup right now. It just started flowering. Its just starting to get root bound to the point where im worrying about it. You guys and your definition of root bound.... I hate to say it but root bound is a way more serious condition that what you guys are throwing it at. Those plants are barely starting to circle. The roots are still nice and white. Of course every transplant will make the plant grow on top as the bottom grows, and small container sizes slow growth. But being root bound and choking out is totally different than being to the point where it need an upcan. You guys are killin me.
