Just getting ready to take the dive into a commercial operation in an non marijuana friendly state. nothing really large but 12-16 kWh. The problem is finding the building, or the ones I do find would require to much security updating. Any Undergrounds I would appreciate some advise.

Check out houses in the sticks plenty privacy you can even throw up mobile homes on land pay for a well as long as you ain't shitting no need for a septic and grow in them meanwhile cleaning money by renting to a fake people.

Plenty of options an apartment building would be nice but neighbors are nosy and you go that big the smell is going to be tough to control. Rural areas are best IMO only downside is no cable not even DSL in most places I got lucky most of the town don't have shit.

Well if you're leaning towards a warehouse or something similar, it would be very suspicious for it to just be tied to an individuals name and not a business. If you tie it to a business, it would give you some legitimacy but then you would also have to actually operate said business and deal with surprise visits from fire inspectors and the like. I think in a non-legal state, commercial size situations are better done in a house.

Not many warehouses in rural areas you would want to buy one as the dude above just mentioned problems with renting. Just one kind of big house can fit the lighting your talking about you don't need to live there but abandoned houses get robbed all the time kids will even break into a closed down warehouse at least I did and that was the city. Security is going to be the biggest problem for you unless you have a fence around the place and dogs but you will need to be there more than once a week so you don't have trouble with the humane society.

I'm pretty much drawing a blank other than a house but still sketchy that nobody will be there neighborhood kids will break in rural area kids will break in all because nobody is their. Then the police will walk in because a break in makes it a crime scene which is why I have dogs. It could be done but a lot of busts happen that way.

If you have the money, put up a quick-fab garage. One of those wood and steel building the Mexicans build in 2 days. 20x30 prefab garage costs around 7000 prob 2k for labor and misc costs.

I already have a storefront set-up and a LLC. and $25,000 start-up capital. Think looking into small contractor shops or the likes. More looking for a way to explain my power usage.

Find some huge ugly old cube vans. Park em inside your warehouse. No need for inspectors to go inside them. Extra layer security. Grow checkerboard verticle.

Cost of land , utility hook-ups would be out of the budget.

Yes this is the problem. I run 2000 watts in my home and another 4000 watts at another location and every month I get statements saying I'm using more than the neighbors in my community. And the difference is twice as much if not more.

Damn 25k ain't much to work with 5 k just on lights then fans, a/c or chiller, carbon scrubers, and a bunch of other shit to only visit once a week pretty much hydro would be about the best. Takes a lot of money to grow indoors you do make it back though.

Pretty much you are going to need to rent a place so got to get looking for the perfect rental place I imagine not too many options you are going to need an electrician to wire it up unless you know how to just remember fires are a guaranteed bust. But yeah good luck.

buy a multi family home, convert it over to 1 electrical service/1 meter and you should be good to go. 16K split over a 4 unit home isn't all that suspicious.

If the basement is big enough, put your grow there.

I have half of the equipment bought already. I just didn't realize how hard it would be to find a building. and I'm already clearing the 100 grand mark with my set-ups now but it's not enough to keep the market satisfied around here.

nothing like the sense of freedom you get from it. I would bring my yellow lab, a lawn chair, my iPad, and just read, ahh how I miss those days. Never ever had a problem
growing, my problems were always on the other end, getting rid of it. But ya try outdoors, good bump to your profit margin.

I already own 160 acres. Outdoors is not a option, choppers fly over every year, the amount of plants I would need to put out to equal what I can produce indoors would be outrageous. In my area plants would have to finish by the first week of October.
