Should I PH my water now that Im adding nutes

I am in my 2nd week of flowering, haven't used any nutes yet, vegged for 5 weeks in fox farm ocean forest. I've been watering with plain tap water that has a PH around 7-7.2 and since the nutes in the soil are probably depleted I bought some Fox Farm Tiger Bloom to use. I noticed when I add this to my water at 1/2 strength it gets very acidic, my aquarium PH test kit shows it at the lowest level so it's somewhere below 6.0. Should I just use it as is, or should I get some PH Up and adjust it to 6.5?

100% always ph your water before you feed it to your plants. Nutes or no nutes. Keep ph 6.3-6.5 for soil.

Ok but I read on another forum that when growing in soil the soil acts as a ph buffer so adding things like hydroponic ph up and ph down builds up over time and effects the ph of the soil .. whats your take on that argument??

You won't see a single big time grower who doesn't Ph their water.

No your nutrients contain ph buffers that should pull the ph down slightly when properly mixed. Either way your mix is ph balanced already. I don't see why anyone would ph water in soil when it is the soil itself that sets the ph in the first place. I also doubt your soil is depleted but use your nutes sparingly & give straight water in between. No need to bother ph-ing your water. Ever. Well, in soil grows anyway.
It is good though to check ph when you mix the nutes though...just use a low ppm; less is more & you won't need half of what is suggested in the silly feed chart

I wouldn't worry about it.
It's possible that the combo of big bloom & tiger bloom is closer to 6.5 ph. Honestly, tiger bloom isn't that special. Even though big bloom is low on NPK, it brings other goodies that will help your buds big time.

Guess I'm small time...ph is balanced in soil- adjusting ph of straight water does nothing in an organic mix but what do I know
I never used all organics. Every thing I learned was always to ph water before adding to soil. I have grown in super soil where it feeds the plant up to 3 months. Makers said to ph water going in as well.

Sorry, if it works for you cool,I am going off what I have always read. If you have something that disproves that I would love to read it.

Well now I'm confused a.f. and dunno what to do.. lol
It's easy...just keep doing what you were doing all along. You do not have to ph anything just because you are adding light nutes. If you were growing in coco you would need to ph but an organic soil like FFOF is ph balanced- just add water as needed & light nutes at half strength or less in bloom phase every other watering or less. They don't need much to keep them healthy; good luck happy growing

Soil is prebuffered to a stable ph, there is no way you can change this. Add some to a small cup, pour on vinegar and whatch it fizz, this is the power of the lime in the soil and it will negate the use of ph up and down. Without this lime the peat in the soil will push the ph down to 4/5 and that soil is sold as *Ericaceous* soil for more acidic plants.
