Buildasoil has a product called Big Time Exterminator it's an enzyme.. expensive, like 50 bucks a quart. I believe Flying Skull Nukem is the same product just a different name, it's the same price but can be found a little easier. Both claim to work on PM and all bugs. Just giving you another option, perhaps an email to buildasoil asking about this product may help. I'm currently using the Nukem on gnats, so far so good.

Amos Otis if your other plants don't have it I would definitely cull the one that does. The big danger now is it spreading to other plants.
Yep. Originally, there were 4 Fat Purple, and 1 Jilly Bean. I trashed the 1st, which was all purple bud, and tried to salvage the others, but 2 other FPs showed pm a week later. Oddly, they were the purple ones, and also were trashed. The green FP pheno, and green JB were chopped clean last weekend. So......coincidence? Are purple plants more susceptible?

I had powdery mildew for the first and only time last summer. The interesting thing is that it only infected one strain (two plants total) out my 4 x 8 room which had eight plants (four or five different strains). The two plants that had it were covered pretty much top to bottom before I noticed it -- they were overlapping leaves with the other plants and everything but it never spread beyond those two purple widow plants.
Again....the purple plants. Have we stumbled on to something here?

not sure whats in fat purp, but my grape stomper hybrids were def weaker than the other plants. rare darkness was more resistant so i wouldnt say purples are more susceptible, just certain genes

Very very interesting. I will say this: I've had it on 3 plants ever. GDP, burkle and purple kush! Hahah. Purples. I know it happens on green plants too but damn...

What is your RH at Amos? I've got a lot of fat purple going now and day 2 of 12-12.
No idea. It's the first case in 5+ yrs at the current location. I'll be scrubbing both tents, fans, pumps, clippers etc w/ peroxide, and tossing in a variety of seedlings to veg. I took calicat's recommendation on the anti-mildew spray. Hopefully I'll never have to use it, but should I have another case, I guess I'll have to look deeper. [ or just grow green bud :) ].

Sorry to hear about your losses Amos. It sucks and I hope you got enough nuggage to hold you over. I know that you'll get everything sorted out and get dialed in again!

Thanks, amigo. My main [ larger] tent wasn't affected, just two small ones where I've been experimenting w/ 1 gal pail grows w/ minimum veg. I've got quite an inventory of buds in jars in the cupboard, so no danger of going without - but those purple Fat Purples just looked and smelled SO good. That's the disappointment. Overall, I've missed out on most garden ills - herms, bugs, etc - so I suppose I was due. The temporary effect is that heavy trichs on sugar leaves now first appear to me as pm, until proven otherwise, and that's sort of a drag.

Any ideas on this one? I am not sure if something got dripped or if this is my 1st case of mildew? It wipes clean off of the leaves and there is no necrosis??? It is on only 2 plants.

Ok.
So you have powdery.....
Won't go away, we know that already.
Calicat is right on with safer. Works well early.
It is in there now, and any plant that is pm weak will most likely get it. Did you check for any bugs as they can be a vector for it. Especially ants.
Citric acid I hear works well. Neem is ok, but must be reapplied every few days.
Move infected plant to area that isn't getting hit by fan, so won't spread as fast to others. Clip off any infected leaves you can find.
You can also use ozone generator and boost co2. Ozone gen. uses uv light, which will kill all mold spores. I would run one of these for next few months to scrubbing air.
Also what goes on when lights are off is important. You should have exhaust running constantly. Make sure ac is not set to eco mode, as it will shut off when temp is reached. And will make air stagnant. You may have to run a dehumidifier on dark cycle. Check you peak humidity with meter if you don't already.
I heard from a friend, who is in touch with the rev, that he has a new product for that and everything that ails a plant. But from my understanding it's like $700 a bottle.
So if you do keep her, make sure to trim wet. If you let dry then trim, it's like puffs of powder all over. Wet doesn't spread.
And yes it makes smoking very harsh, and weakens immune system.

I started finding the "tale-tale" signs of the circle formations!!! I cut down 7 plants just now and it kind of hurt lol...
I hate it for you, amigo. I'm still bruised from the Fat Purple massacre in December. That was after 5+ yrs of never having disease issues of any kind. But since, I've caught it early on several plants, and fostered them all to harvest with the aid of the Safer. Thanks, @calicat .

I think that the problem is solved. Discovered a slow leak from the water heater for who knows how long, that had began to seep into the carpet. . Pulling it out to replace it, the enclosure walls were growing black mildew. My amigo [mostly] and I replaced the damaged walls and scrubbed the entire area w/ a Clorox solution before replacing the WH. He went home w/ 2+ untrimmed zips of FS Lemon Kush. I'd have given it all to him - a horrible smoke. What's left will go as partial trade to give the back deck a facelift end of the month.

I had a 1000w and a 400w in my veg room, I replaced the 1000w with another 400w. I guess that it allowed it to get much colder??? My problem was in Veg and not flower, so??? I got Eagle 20 because my problem is NOT in flower... Hell, everything that I have can be replaced fairly easy. I thought about bringing my propagation room back to the house until I get my garage straightened out.

Thanks for the replies!!!
