I started another thread earlier about this grow "Bud in leaf and 14 blade leaf pictures" it featured the 1st 2 pics of a healthy plant a few weeks into flowering, they are finishing nicely, I have some bud pics of this grow near harvest. Crystals are still clear under a microscope. A few more days, maybe a week till harvest. The bud pictured inside of the leaf did not develop any larger than shown in the picture.

Where is the little budlet that so much scorn was placed on by that bastard Ryan, wanted to kill it I recall lol.
I have a pick I took today of the bud in leaf. Yeh, the fight that ensued on the other thread turned pretty negative pretty fast. It's nice to have this thread at least start out on a positive note. Even if this thread gets misdirected or hijacked at least the posts at the beginning were cool.

That's some killer looking bud man! Nice work! I would agree another week or so and then check her out =)

Looks good - organic is the shit
Thanks for the kind words!
I'm gonna add some close up crystal pictures taken with a $40 Celestron digital microscope today. I Chose 3 out of about 40 pics. This was from a plant that looks finished when you look at the bud swelling and the red hairs. They have been flowering for about 9 weeks.

Can you tell me what you use for the soil, is it your own mix, and what amendments or nutes you add along the way?
I use FF ocean forest soil, hope it's classified as organic :)
I purchased an RO system this grow so instead of using a 20% tap water and 80% RO, I used 100% RO. This led to a cal mag deficiency. The calcium deficiency seemed to appear 1st. I used GO cal/mag alittle to sparingly at 1st (I always try to stay on the side of under fertilizing) then I needed to kick it up to 2 tsp per gal when watering and as a foliar spray as my upper fan leaves, were developing necrotic spots (IMHO a calcium deficiency). I had 3 strains that were reacting differently. Some showed no deficiency, some had necrotic spots on the upper leaves, and some had the classic look of a lower fan leaf mag deficiency. Some developed purple stems. (Probably from the mag def). More plants over time developed all 3 visual types of deficiencies.

Not all plants got the same feedings.
General Organics Cal/Mag was used as described above.

Each plant got a tbl of ff happy frog bat guano on 2 occasions 1st week of flowering and the 4th or 5th week of flowering.
Each got about 4 feedings of FF Big Bloom (about 2 tbl/gal) starting near the end of veg and ending between the 6th or 7th week of flowering.

Some plants received Epsom salt, gypsum, and lime in small quantities.
Some plants got none of the above some got one two or all 3 off the above.

I started with FF light warrior after germination before moving to FF Ocean Forest.
During the seedling and early veg stage I used a 600W MH.

FFOF is considered partially organic or organic-derived. FF Happy Frog is their organic soil. I don't think any of their nutes are considered truly organic, but are regarded as more or less organic.

Got cpl of tips for ya!

@Chef420 You might like this soil too!

Add a 1/2 cup Dolomite lime (powder) to 1 bag of OF and mix it in well.....Not surprised at your Ca/Mg problems. OF is light on that and the 1/2 per bag will fix the problem!

Just so you know.....Do not mix Epsom directly in soil......Mixed with water at around 1- 1 1/2 tsp and watered in, is ok.

Garden Gypsum,, good stuff, I love garden gypsum....Thing is, it's another one TO mix in the soil before use.....I'm afraid it won't do much worked into the surface...

I might throw in a bag of OF, something like this.
1/2 Cup Dolo
2 heaping Cups EWC
2 heaping Cups composted steer/cow manure
1.5 gallons coarse Perlite
1/2 cup Kelp meal
1/2 cup Alfalfa meal
1/4 cup Sumatran bat guano

Mix well and water. Cook for about 3-4 weeks and use......All you should be doing is watering this mix.....A little FF BB in bloom will not hurt at all.

The above mix adds myco's, aeration, and sufficient amounts of NPK to carry you to finish
