Did my plants have a mag deficiency? Why are they dropping now?

Needless to say I'm a new gardener and have had my share of issues within my first 3 weeks of growing. So far I believe I have had some sort of defiency do to the look of some of the fan leaves. I have tried reviewing other posts and have searched all over the internet and the closest thing I have seen that I can relate to my plants is that it's some sort of magnesium deficiency.

Early on I thought I had over fed my plants because they weren't really growing much. I decided to flush the pots and then feed with a small of nutrients. These included dyna gro proteckt, general hydroponics cal mag, dyna gro foliage pro and ph down/up as needed. I ph'd the water during the flush and feeding to around 6.4-6.7.

Anyway here are some pics and I hope I can gain a little more knowledge and become an active member of this community while saving my ladies and eventually enjoying some great smoke. Thanks for your time!

Hey bud, what light and nutes are you using? Can you give me a dose as well? And yes they look like they had too much water . Also avoid that type of flush the best you can. Male log, keep nutes used, spam that thing every time you do something. That way if you have an issue we can help better.

I say that because could of asked before doing that if you thought you over nutes. Also where is your ph at when you do normal feeds.

Obviously they seem over watered. Which makes sense since I have recently flushed them. What I'm more concerned with is the coloring within the leaves which was there prior to the flush. Could it be a sign of over feeding or lack of feeding? Could it be from the light being too close? I have a 600w HPS turned up to only 450w sitting about 26-27" above my two plants. Is that too close? I thought I had done my research before I made my investment but it seems there's still a lot to be learned.

600w HPS dialed in at 450w at the moment. Using dyna grow protekt, general hydroponics cal mag, dyna gro foliage pro and ph up/down as needed. I was feeding them at 1/4 strength that was recommended on dyna gro's site. I have recently flushed (two days ago) and fed with light nutrients toward the end of flushing.

It appears to be lack of Nitogen to me, based off the attached chart which is reliable. List nutes and feeding periods please

Do full strength on cal/mag won't hurt them, they love it. Mine is 5ml a gallon or 1 tsp. Also I think you should keep ph more around 6.0 - 6.5. But maybe up all nutes to 75% see how they act.

Pretty sure standard cal/mal dose is 3ml/1gal.

Also, I'd recommend keeping pH around 6.2-6.5 but the soil will act as a buffer and pH will change within soil

Can you get a pic with no hps? Natural or blue light. It will be easier to see the problem.

I say over water. It will cause yellowing and other colors. It can cause necrotic spots.

Also, one more thing I just saw you said was that you lightly nuted after you flushed. That completely defeats the purpose of flushing.
You only flush when:
1)over nuted
2)close to harvest
3)nute lock out
4)salt build ups

So you would flush to remove salts and access nutes. The plants are still so small if your using a hot soil you will need ZERO nutes during veg stage. However cannabis loves N in early stages of growth so I would think its lack of that if anything.

It is OK to use 1/4 strength when flushing.

Op, just lay off the water.

I planted this seed straight to this 15 inch pot. It is about five gallons. I have yet to water it.

IMG_20160405_202732337_HDR.jpg It is better to under water than over. If you let it dry it will be fine. Even if it dries to the point of drooping it is OK. It will strengthen the roots.
