Early Problems With First Grow

Yes dont even think of nutes for seedlings. Wait for a least 5 nodes. Three weeks in soi at least. In good soil like ocean forest, happy frog, or roots you can go a month easy.
Yeah I figured out the nutes were a bit too early so I had cut them. My big worry comes now with the pics I posted on my grow journal over at -----> https://www.rollitup.org/Journal/tntgreen13.927876/

My brother decided to do some trimming which I feel was definitely immature. I'm more so curious If these girls have seen too much stress for their young lives and if I should start over on my own.

Feel free to comment on here or the journal page, either way is greatly appreciated!

So the last 24 hours have been a mess and a half. Yesterday morning, i.e. 5pm when the lights come on, I arrived over at my brother to see that he had "trimmed down" the Dream Machine and Incredible Bulk both. However, as of 15 minutes ago they seem to be recovering at least for the time being.

Neither one obviously looks as full as they did they other day, but however I think they should recover and fill out again over the course of the next week or so. Today unfortunately I think was the lowest yet for the Lemon Cheesecake. As the leaves it had died off we did however notice a little fresh growth. I voted to get rid of the poor thing, but my brother has decided to give it until our flush in one week to see what she looks like. I got money on the fact that she is probably a goner.

Finally, we have the random auto that we decided to try with 2 Fast 2 Vast. Well after hearing the we have gotten confirmation for our move this summer I am hoping it's fast. We transplanted her today as the root system was starting to become bound in her cup, however we plan to retransplant her and all the others in approximately 2 weeks into their final 5 gallon pots for flower. My hopes are to sent the DM, IB and LC(if it survives) into flower, the first week or two of May to ensure time for flower before moving.

Here is the 2F2V after transplant. Hoping she wasn't stunted in this unfortunately, disaster of a first grow.

As always, any pointers, suggestions, opinions or what not is greatly appreciated. You can always follow this grow over at --------------> http://rollitup.org/Journal/tntgreen13.927876/ for the full Grow Journal.

I think they all look ok, save for that lemon cheese. I mean, the seedling leaves are still on and and green and it looks like it was topped too early, but the new growth is still green so it's still goo imo. Keep watching its progress over the next week or two, it could be slow to recover but if the new growth stays green and healthy I say give it time. You'll be surprise with how tough these plants are.

Thanks for the input, I greatly appreciate it. I think being a first time grower, who's done a lot of research, but obviously not enough, I'm excited/nervous of what will happen. Everyone keeps reminding me its a weed and is resilient so to relax lol.

Just hoping everything recovers and that I can keep getting additional knowledge from using this site and speaking with other members. Obviously there is a lot to learn, and I am just beginning!

If you look at mainlining, its a technique where you prune off nearly everything on a young plant and it works out fine, yours was just too young to start but it's not dead so keep a close eye on her.
Cheers!

Overall, I'm just going to wait and see. The Dream Machine is pretty impressive as far as how its recovery from all the trauma. The only thing I have really been doing is I made the mistake with the early feeding, otherwise I've been doing the feedings. My brother did the pruning. I am slightly bending the branches towards the outside of the pots on the DM and IB, which the DM seems pretty responsive to. Will be posting some new photos on my journal here in a few, check it out!

Well if bad stuff stops happening this grow will become much more fun. Granted I have had any major issues in regards to the whole scheme of things, but last night when my brother's wife came home she decided that he needed to get ride of the plants. So I found a new, permanent home for them, but ended up transplanting them in the process. On the upside, I finally have full control over this grow (other then any dwindling effects from before).

Still using same box, lights, etc, only things that have changed is location and now all plants are in final 5 gallon pots. The root growth on all the plants looks extremely good thus far with no signs of rot, etc. I couldn't believe the root structure of the Lemon Cheesecake in comparison to whats going on above ground. The 2 Fast 2 Vast had its biggest growth night last night as well. Anyways, here's just a coupe quick pictures from today after their first nights rest in their new pots.

Just wanted to say thanks for telling me to save the Lemon Cheesecake. She by no means has had a miracle recover, but as a first time grower I am SHOCKED by this plants resilience. Granted the picture is definitely nothing to brag about, but she seems to be coming back!

As I said, DEFINITELY nothing to brag about, but I am SHOCKED that it has even recouped this little bit.

In 100% honesty I'm not sure. She's definitely not to where the rest of the plants are at this time, but since I feel I'll have plenty of room I'll probably take it into flowering just for the hell of it when I make the switch. I'm guessing if it grows and regains a nice level of health that it will produce. However, my assumption would be VERY minimal and probably not of very good quality?

Anyways, figured I'd do a little update overall here of the grow. Been trying to keep up with a grow journal basically daily, more so for me to look back at for reference but always enjoy others input, however seems I get more frequent comments here.

Anyways, still nothing overly impressive but here is a little visual update of all four different plants. Always looking for suggestions or tips!

First is the Lemon Cheesecake. Definitely was beaten up and stunted bad, but figure we'll see what happens.
LC1.jpg LC2.jpg

Nest is the 2Fast 2Vast Auto that I popped in the ground about 10 days after the rest. Was kind of a slow start, but seems to be picking up a little steam.
2F.jpg 2V.jpg

Alright, so next up is the Incredible Bulk. Granted a lot of it is probably due to my first grow and issues, but doesn't seem to be growing as fast as I had originally expected.
IB1.jpg IB2.jpg

Finally, we move on to the Dream Machine. Out of the four, she seems to be the most resilient thus far to my first time grower issues lol.
DM1.jpg DM2.jpg

Obviously, at this early stage there is nothing overly exciting about the girls. However, they seem to be doing a little better health wise overall. Definitely still have a lot to learn, and won't know the end result for 3 months or so, but I have found this to be quite exciting. I have never been the gardening type prior to this, however I think I am hooked. I never realized everything that goes into these plants prior to me receiving my medicine but definitely have found a new passion!

Looking good! I wanted to try to order a incredible bulk but haven't yet wish you were in flower to see lol I'll be watching this some good strains

Not sure if you have grown before or not, but please keep in mind this is my first grow so results probably won't due justice for the strain. However, I have seen a couple flower them on (not sure if it was on RIU or not) but have seen some nice outcomes.

You said this was your first grow as well correct? Not sure if you got it or not, but had actually pm you about an update, and here it is! Looking good, any estimates of what you think you'll yield off of them? How many plants you got in there and how big a space?
