How to test if this is web or mold?

A light bleach water dip(3 drops to 5 gal) will kill the mold spores but as for the new growth being dead that's due to wet cubes and not hardening off daily(taking dome off daily 5 min 1st day 10 the next 15 every day after). By adjusting your cloning regimen you should be good

What ever it was it was so bad that if you can just take some more clones or start some fresh seeds that`ll be better than trying to fix them

They are still alive I forgot to throw them away. Someone wants them for outside. I was never concerned about the clones themselves. Just the big plants. I think the clones would be toast by now if I had mites would they?

That looks very similar to spider mites. Webbing seems a bit thicker and instead of white dots it has broad mite looking damaged leaves. Kinda freaky honestly especially since they prefer the dome. Also, take a look at your webbed undergrowth, see the black dots? I can. Put a loupe to it, if its mites then you've got some work to do lol

I don't see any mites on any plant in the house... Or any more webs. Just what was there I left. Now further development. Hopefully it was mold.
I did see like dust coming up form some soil when I watered. Definitly NOT like WHITE flies. Caught my attention, is that anything to be concerned? Spider mites would strictly be on undersides of leaves right? And after a week or two wouldn't you think I'd see some webs or damage on my plants

Do you have little yellow specks on the green leaves? Maybe you have broad mites, they are hard af to see.

I don't know dude, but I do want to say in regards to the note on your first post; all of our gardens are worth a lot of money, it doesn't make you special. I wish you good luck, though.

Do broad mites make webs tho? I saw another post someone had a half yellow curled to the side leaf and it was broad mites. I saw it a while ago on one of my plants

Dude, I really don't know, I haven't had them or Russets, thank fuck. Definitely something fucky going on with your grow, I wish I could be more help.

I`d keep an eye on them

Mites best way to spot them is by the chewing damage they do to fan leaves you`ll see the scars normally before you see any webbing

Just hope its a bad root pest like root mites because I hear they can be a bitch and I know thrips in the rootzone can be a cunt to get rid of, keeping the numbers down till harvest is easy but having some thing you can re-veg, nope and I have to chuck the coco away when it gets thrips, so that`s added a lot of extra work and some extra cost, I mean 10 x 70L coco blocks is around £40 to £50, ok not the end of the world

but being able to re-use my coco and perlite mix would make life a lot easier but them cunting thrips stop us doing that

No luck using spinosad for thrips? That stuff rules.

Looks like MOLD to me! I guess it was best to keep them around and monitor. This doesn't look like a we to me.

But once there in the coco they always seem to be able to recover, it can take 6 months but they still come back

So fresh coco every time and try to treat plants with spinosad or something mellow at least twice, I like to get them twice in veg and once or twice in flower, but sometimes just with a fogger in flower depends

but yeah it`s been a long fight with them fuckers, a friend had them bad for ages and tried everything, pretty sure I got them from him so there extrat hard to kill, the spinosad does the most damage to them because its about the only thing he did not try

if its a long veg then I use something systemic near the start, but only a "fruit/veg" type systemic, we have to keep seeing where they thrips find to live next

its part of why we went to bigger pots and never feed just water, all to keep them thrips off the buds, lol

yeah looks like some kinda white web mould

actually looks a bit like a more pale version of the bud rot I`ve seen on indica dom bud that was jarred up too damp

Have you tried something to kill the rot ?

Rot stop or they make stuff out of various things, I think barley extract is quite common ?

but that`s a wet mess not too shocked to see mould, when I see leaves sitting in water like that you know all it takes is 20c or more and 60% rh and you can get problems fast

This was just before I started a coco grow, I'm sure glad they didn't get in the coco, if you're right. Good luck, eradicate the nasty little fuckers.

There's tons of types but western flower thrips seem to be pretty hardy I hear the onion ones can be tough too

Depends what kind of resistance they have, from what I read 10 to 20% can normally survive so you have to stop them ones making it or then get more hardy

but yeah I top my coco with a thick layer of perlite now days to help keep bugs out of it, lol
