those who flush, post your white ash pictures.

Those who don't, post yours.

I have been smoking bud from the delivery services and it's always blackish grey.

My crop I cut this morning after a quick dry in the air dryer and with the hash off the fiskars ash is pure white. Flushed the first week with flawless flush at 4.0 ph and let it rise to 6.5 and let it flush another week in water.

I'm amazed at the results. Let's see yours. No trolling unless you've got proof. No trolling if you have pictures only share methods and reasons you think bud gets blackish grey ash.

Are you referring to a water cure?
does the white ash mean a smoother or more flavorful smoke?
Bless,
DZ
Less pollutants in the bud from everything it's taken up since it started growing.

Everyone is obsessed with the flavor and smoothness and that's why they argue against flushing saying it's not needed.

But for medical patients who are actually sick and need it for conditions like myself who cannot have additives in my food or anything I take in or it'll cause me abdominal and bladder pain.

But I can say now from experience doing this that the weed smells better and taste better wet than any of the weed I have bought from a delivery service in NV. Not even cured yet. First day off the plant.

Yield over quality and cleansed of chemicals used any day of the week. My personal health over yield any day of the week.

Sometimes I flush, sometimes I don't. Sometimes my dog pees on my plants, sometimes I wash it off. Sometimes my ash is light grey, sometimes it can be darker.

Know what? My stuff tastes just fine, does not go down harsh, numbs my pain and makes me feel damn good. One of the few nice things about getting older is that the need to compete fades over time.

OP,
You Do You but....

So this thread is about "flushing" plants?

I thought flushing was for toilets?

Sorry bout the joke but flushing goes hand in hand with defoliation skipping down a yellow brick path.
Just my .02,

In on the first page!

I'm burning a bowl right now while I cook breakfast. I can see that the ashes are mostly white with a bit of black around the edges.

Nope, now mostly white. :bigjoint:

Never flushed a plant in my life. All you need to do to get white ash is to burn all of what is in the bowl leaving no black gold for the ash tray.

There are several things that are so wrong here

1st, No matter how often or with what you flush you can not in any way remove "stuff" from the plant. Flushing/leeching only cleans the medium the plant is growing in. This starves the root zone and causes the plant to munch on its leaves. Any heavy metals or pollutants that are/were in the plant will still be there.

2nd, white ash is a sign of to much Mag ! You really should do some research, you see the Cigar snobs have been at this much longer than the pot snobs and they have the ash down to a science, they can even tell ya where it was grown by the ash

Based on your pic, you would get much better results by reducing your feeding regimen
