Bought some stuff to make super soil what else do I need

So at lowes the other day (I live in a small town only place I have access to)

I bought Organic potting mix with no nutrients from a company called harvest moon. I bought a bag of powdered lime, bone meal, black kow composted manure,blood meal and Jobes Organic 4-4-4 all purpose and perlite and epsom salt and organic molasses.

I wanted to get espoma tomato tone which they didnt have... they were also out of worm castings.



They didnt have alot of things I wanted like alfafa meal, crab meal, bat guano etc.


what else should I add to what I got or.. will what I bought suffice for a decent organic mix that will feed from seed to harvest?

the cool thing about this jobes organic fertilizer is it has something called "biomize" in it.. its 3 forms of good bacteria including mycrohizae

If you have to, order everything online and have it delivered. Don't cut corners and follow the recipe to a 't'. Don't cut corners!

Ohhh I feel ya.. I tried cutting corners on my last grow.. just using soil from my backyard and some perlite.. it was a himalaya blue diesel auto flower.. dried weight.. 8 grams..

This time although not organic I did not cut corners at all. I took a 3.5 gallon container and drilled 110 holes in it to air prune the roots. then I filled that pot with a 12 qt bag of fox farm ocean forest soil. I vegged it for 6 weeks then flipped to 12/12 and started using tiny ammounts of dynagro bloom and organic locally made molasses and I add epsom salts 2 times during flowering.. once at day 1 of 12/12 and one more time on week 4.

This is that plant.. pictures are from day 28 of flower.. its from world of seeds and is NL x BB.


I wanna go organic though. I have had the best reults I ever had in this good soil (FFOF) ... I got the fastest most vigorous growth I'd ever gotten on any grow using FFOF. previously I used miracle gro organic potting mix.. it did OK but cant touch the FFOF results.

Plant is 2.5 feet tall and 3 feet wide. Its only my 3rd ever grow and my 1st ever photo strain... I'd only done autos till this grow. I'm trying to learn..

My end goal in all of this is to grow 100% organic.. I wanna feed my soil at the start then only have to water till harvest. that would be simple and fantastic!

I learned alot on this grow.. I learned how to top a plant and I also learned how to LST... I only LST'd a tiny tiny bit.. to open the middle of the plant up to allow for more light.. I also lollipopped bottom shit nugs or what was gonna turn into shit nugs.

yes , sadly where i live in a tiny town I have to order almost everything! hell I had to get my fox farm ocean forest off amazon! I only bought a 3 gallon (12 qt) bag due to shipping heavy ass bags of soil.


I want to do some more autos next.. or .. If I could actually get a good clone I'd go that route.

I've been growing organically for awhile. 2 things that are important & often overlooked is a good supply of non chlorinated water and a supply of fresh compost. You can get away with collecting rain or using an RO system for water if you are on the city tap. The best thing you can do for your organic grow right now is to start up a worm bin. A fresh supply of castings or other compost will ensure success. It's easy to amend and/or recycle your mix but you need micobial activity to drive it all. Check out in the organic section

I aint gonna to ya'll. I dont PH my water and never have.. I have a PUR ultimate filter on my sink... I get a gallon of it and throw an airstone in it and bubble for 24 hours before I add nutrients.. then I bubble 30 more minutes and water right away.

Id love to have a ph tester.. love to see the ph right out of my tap.. doesnt soil naturally buffer ph though? I grow in soil


would this Black Kow composted manure be considered "good" compost? thats what I was going for when I bought it. I wanted to buy worm castings instead but they were out of it. last year they had it but this year... nope

Letting tap water sit ( and aerate ) will get rid of chlorine .. But chloramine is a different thing., some cities/municipalities use chloramine.. Call them and ask whats in your drinking water... Its more than likely chlorine but you never know until you ask

Don't trade seeds with this guy, No. 1 he's no breeder and no. 2 no matter how you package the beans he'll still insist they came out a small hole. Some young cats can't lie very well.

  1. I got the envelope today but unfortunately there are no beans inside...Not sure what's going on ....I looked at the envelope and there was no damage besides a little tear on the side but it was small, less than half an inch long...so it doesn't look like anyone opened it up and took anything out....did you send it in an envelope??? I can send you pictures of the envelope

    what did you put them in and do you think it could have fallen through that hole ?? Envelope probably is no the way to go, the paper tears to easy......a small bubble mailer costs like 1.92 to ship i think....it will be protected in a yellow bubble mailer...i would send something like that in a bubble mailer with some junk baseball cards or something like that
    i hope they just fell out and no one took them

    you saw it, those are the seeds. Those seeds where in the zippy and folded,they where in that envelope before it was opened come one man.

    I believe you sent them, not saying you didn't and now your implying i stole them and now i don't want to send your seeds, well your wrong......I was still planning on giving you the beans I agreed to give you but since you are insulting my intelligence I think I might reconsider....I mean if I was trying to rip you off I would have you send the beans and then I would not send yours and just ignore your messages.....But why would i want to burn this bridge, its good to have connections... Your package got fucked somehow ...either you were to stoned and forgot to package it or it fell through the apparent hole on the side or it was stolen or it was confiscated, who the fuck knows....All i know is i had nothing to do with it....knew this was a bad idea

Know the only place I get seeds from? The Single Seed Centre .. fast shipping and you can buy single seeds from about 100 different breeders. Sorry that happened to you but.. A known company will make sure you get your seeds. the single seed centre just keeps sending you seeds till you get them if anything goes wrong.


You can spend 50 bucks shipped and get 6 different strains plus 1 or 2 free ones as well. Every single one germ'd too.

I dont like herbies though, Had bad luck with herbies and know others who have as well.
