Spider Mites: The Conclusion.

So I only start new threads and talk when I feel I really know what needs to be said. I have been following this site for the past 4 years and a part of it for 2. So since most of you don’t know me. If you post a tone I most likely recognize your call.
So I tried every little trick and all the goofy shit that people would suggest to get rid of the “cancer” that has been fucking my girls up for over a year. I crop around a pound once a month in a scrog setting, and my room is 5 foot by 10 foot room. At one point I had over 7 no pest strips and it killed everything else especially them annoying little spring tails that I get from time to time in my reservoirs. As for spider mites it maybe caused them to cough a little. Neem oil was a joke maybe would have worked, but it made my plants look like a disco ball all sparkly and caused the leaves to get all discombobulated and started growing funny. All the other Mickey Mouse bull shit, just forget about it!!!!!!!!
So here is the point and it isn’t a brake through and I am not taking credit for it at all, but for those of you who are like me and have perpetual grows and cant “afford” to break down the grow and start over. Also those of you that have dedicated all their free time to growing like I have this is also for you. AVID is absolutely a cure to spider mites. You don’t need much and can get it off eBay in small amounts and that is all you will ever need. If you can afford it than you should be growing anyways Application is easy, and it only took me two applications to kill a really serious problem with the mites.
So if you are done fucking around and wasting money just do what took me over a year to braik down and do and by that Avid! It will fix your problem I put my name on it!

a few drops of ortho volck oil dormant season insect killer mixed with water in a spray bottle and misted up onto the undersides of the leaves killed off my spider mite problem and could be a less expensive alternative

Avid is what I use but you have to be careful of how you use it. It stays in the plants for 45 days so don't use it if you have 45 days left till harvest. Also make sure you protect yourself when you use it and wear protective clothing and a mask and spray in a well ventilated area.

Also, Avid should not be used twice consecutively or more than twice on a single crop. If necessary you should alternate with Floramite which works exceedingly well also. And if you add Stirrup M, which is a spider mite sex pheromone, they will come running straight to their doom.

I don't fuck around any more with oils, soaps, rubbing alcohol or prayer. Kill the fuckers; kill them all.:cuss::fire:

never had a problem just went to work. All mights are gone. Just mixed it and I am still alive. Amazing I know, but a 100% true. Avid

I don't fuck around.
I use powerful systemics very early in veg. If I get the little bastards in flower I use safe non toxic methods.

However safe and nontoxic don't cure it just salvaged and buys time

I kill shit as fully as possible and I don't use the same poison twice in a row. I rotate.

Just being honest.

Yeah they are quick to adapt like a lot of little critters. As a few people me tinned above the best treatment is always rotating your miticides and if you have 2 or 3 good ones then that should hopefully take care of them

As far as I know they can not build a tolerance to neam.

They can't build a tolerance to Iso
It straight up destroys them on contact.
If it contacts them.

That's how I understand it anyway

I can't speak with certainty about that so I won't try to. What I will say is neem either doesn't kill 100 percent or doesn't kill eggs . You can dip em and your plants will be clean and 2 weeks later there they are again. It will also burn your plants a little so definitely don't put them in direct lit for at least a few hours after treatment. It's effective but you have to keep using it or alternate it with something else every so often

We agree on the fact that neam is simply a suppression.
It's not going to solve a deep infestation
